However, on the Day of Pentecost, what followed next was not torn shingles, uprooted trees, and snapped utility poles. It was the unmistakable fulfillment of what Jesus has promised the disciples before His ascension. And what followed next was just the opposite of a power outage. God had poured out His Holy Spirit and, just as our Savior said, the believers were “clothed with power from on high.” And this "windy season" continues to this day.
