Description: The media already has an issue of trust. Here's an episode on both dodgy research and dodgy media 'reporting'... A recent Stuff article on the conversion therapy bill was taken to the Media Council who agreed with a number of concerns about the accuracy and integrity of both the research quoted and the reporting of it. It’s a good example of the media tripping over their own ideology to push a narrative. It’s also a good example of dodgy research by activists.
