He just finished his first season with the Gamecocks in 2021 and went 7-6 and won the Duke's Mayo Bowl 38-21 over North Carolina. Beamer is the son of former Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer and played football for his father in the late 1990's as a wide receiver and long snapper.
