Tonya is a disabled veteran who has many illnesses. She was diagnosed with Autonomic Dysfunction secondary to Gulf War Illness. Autonomic Dysfunction causes issues with things such as temperature dysregulation, hypotension, hypoglycemia, orthostatic intolerance, and tachycardia and Gastroparesis.
