I am Benedetta, an Italian teacher from Naples! 

Teaching Italian is my passion and I love doing it online. 

I am a certified CEDILS tutor and I have more than 3 years of experience. I started as a volunteer for refugee and now it is my full time job. I have experience with a lot of different students, with different backgrounds and goals. 

I encourage students and I create a friendly classroom environment. I use different tools like audio, video and ebook, but I also have my own material.

Pleased to meet you! I am Grazia and I have been teaching Italian to foreigners for more than ten years! I have a great passion for this job and I am always very happy to meet new students and get in touch with their world! My method is based first of all on listening and understanding the needs and attitudes of each student, and in this way I try to offer lessons that are... 'tailor-made'! I believe that grammar is important, but I also always give a lot of space to conversation, communication and fun. The tools I use for my lessons vary greatly: from grammar review sheets to poems, songs, videos... anything that I find stimulating can become a very good working tool! Since obtaining the DITALS certificate to teach Italian to foreigners, I have taught both in Italy and abroad, to students of all ages and in both individual and group lessons.  One aspect of this work that I find very important (and really valuable!) is building a relationship with the students. 

After all, teaching allows me to bring together my two greatest passions: the Italian language and... people, from all over the world.

Here's a summary of my teaching style and core beliefs:

1) The focus of my classes is helping you to effectively EXCHANGE INFORMATION in Italian

2) I believe that the STUDENT should be at the CENTER of the course and should be constantly motivated by the teacher

3) Grammar to me is like a scavenger hunt, and the quest for REGULARITIES rather than rules in language an exciting one, where we both learn something!

4) I believe MOTIVATION is the basis of a successful language learning path, this is why I'm constantly encouraging my students to strive for greatness!

5) Finally, I believe creating a comfortable & FUN environment in the class is also key to SUCCESS

Ciao! I like to think that every student of mine was a challenge in a peculiar way. I have worked with European students abroad, retired professionals, University students in Asia, company employees and teenagers: every time I have found the best way to have fun both, taking advantage of any opportunity to understand  my language and my culture! 

I'm currently working as an online tutor with beginners, mainly from English speaking countries, who are generally not familiar with the language learning process. I usually help them to get some confidence in facing basic conversations as tourists in the country. I like to engage a fun conversation about different topics like my country's culture, Italian modern literature, art and cinema history due to my solid background in these disciplines. I am also a very curious person, keen to explore new topics, so much that I had eventually supported my students'interests through language practice (for example: reading Italian sport magazines together or watching videos about Italian cuisine).

I really believe that having fun teaching is the first cause for having fun learning.

I was born in a small village in Northern Italy, but I have been living in Berlin since 2015.
I have a true passion for languages and cultures, and I am grateful to be able to experience them through my work every day.
I have been teaching Italian online since 2019. I have a degree in Italian literature and language teaching. I also have a certificate to teach Italian to adults (DITALS I).
I love nature, kayaking, walking, and cycling. When I am not outside, I like to cook, read a good novel or watch a movie.

My name is Simona and I live in Italy. I have many years of experience in teaching both English and Italian to foreign students of all ages, background and nationalities. I am a qualified Italian language teacher. I am originally from Sicily, in Italy, but I have been living for many years in Germany where I teach Italian at university and online. 

What classes are interactive, dynamic, but above all tailored to you, according to your level, interests and goals. 

My goal is to get you to talk. That is why in my courses there is always a lot of conversation, which is needed to immediately put what you have learnt into practice, but there is also a structure, so there is material that I tailor for you: i.e. pdfs, parts of books, songs, videos etc. or, if you prefer, we can use a book and together choose the one that suits you best!

And also: Is there perhaps a part of the Italian language that interests you most? Great! We can study, for example, an Italian that will be very useful for your holidays in Italy, or the Italian that you need to work in Italy or with Italians.

I not only specialize in teaching the language but because I hold a Masters Degree in Cultural Heritage and Archeology, I have comprehensive knowledge of my country’s deep history, culture, and art to share with you!

Hi, my name is Chiara and I’m from Italy, but I lived abroad for about 6 years, in the UK, in Australia, in New Zealand and in Perù. 

I love traveling and meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. That’s why I decided to study languages. I am a polyglot and besides English and Italian, I can also speak Spanish, French, and German. So I know what it’s like to study a foreign language! I can teach you how to improve your speaking, and your listening, because I’ve done it myself in the first place! I also know that sometimes learning a language is not easy, but I know how you can overcome these difficulties. 

My lessons vary according to the student’s needs. During our first lesson together we will decide what your goals are and what your level is. My lessons focus on conversation to give you a chance to practise what you have studied independently, and then, if needed, we can revise together some grammar points and learn some vocabulary.

My first goal is always to make the student feel comfortable in speaking another language so that they can feel confident about it and make progress more easily. 

I believe the secret to learning a language is enjoying the process, having fun is the key!

I'm Italian and have studied first in Italy, completing a Bachelor Degree in International Communication and then in Germany obtaining a Master of Arts in Communication at Duisburg-Essen University.

I have experience in teaching Italian both in classes and online for all levels, from beginner to advanced and for all ages from child to adult.

The languages I speak are Italian, German, English and Spanish.

My approach to teaching is using the direct method of teaching, where the students are encouraged to speak in the target language in real contexts or about real topics. I love teaching as it enables me to share my passion for communication, share ideas, see the students grow in knowledge and skills and above all have fun!
