In Oct 2020 Maurice suffered a paragliding accident which left him with a spinal cord injury. Doctors told him he was unlikely to ever walk again. Life would be spent in a wheelchair. Yet just a few years later Maurice has completed several HYROX races, including 2 in one day at the recent London Olympia event.
