Farmers in the area are said to have received letters this week, advising that Council staff are due to carry out surveys on their property. Meanwhile, there's increased speculation that the N17 could be in line for a major funding boost in the coming weeks. Cllr Michael Clarke has been expressing his disappointment over the lack of funding to date and warned that it could be 2040 before a new road in constructed:
