Hello, my name is Nicoletta and I come from the small island of Cyprus. However, both my parents have British roots and I have grown up speaking English as my primary language.

As a person who has always been interested in other countries and cultures, I have embarked on learning new languages myself in the last few years. Most recently Korean! Doing this, I realised how important it is to have someone guide you and support you on your language learning journey. I hope to be that person for you, to aid you and support you with your experience of the English language.

I have had various experiences working with children and individuals both in schools and informal settings. I homeschooled my brother who has special needs in Science, English, and Maths. In addition, during my university years, I led year 1 undergraduate students (both native English and international students) in various projects with the English language being key in the design and delivery of these presentations. I have also volunteered at a school, with my task being to provide individualised support to students in a variety of subjects. All of these experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to now lead my own classes. In the past year, I have been working towards my TEFL qualifications, completing the general course, an advanced course in preparing students to take English language exams, and a Business English course.

I believe in tailoring each lesson to meet the students needs. I believe that the student is the most important person in any lesson and that the teacher should focus their material on the students’ goals, interests, and aspirations.

I’m a TEFL certified English teacher and I specialize in business English, conversational fluency, and pronunciation. I also have about 35 years’ experience in the business sector, including 25 years in education.

Learning happens in a fun and positive environment and when we experience language in different ways. I'm Ryan, I am a Canadian Certified English TESOL instructor.  I am a Native English speaker, currently living in Mexico.  I have taught all ages and abilities.  In the past I have taught at an English school but now I am mostly teaching online, which I enjoy al lot!  I love teaching English to beginners, intermediates and I also really look forward to helping advanced leaners prep for IELTS, CELPIP or even preparing you for your next job interview.  

In my classes we will work on conversation skills, grammar, phrasal verbs, idioms, and new vocabulary, also we can review any current English school work you have.   I know that I was talking a little fast in my video, but I promise to slow down in our class as my students ability dictates.  

Everyone learns in different ways, I'll quickly find out what's the best way to teach to you and we'll have fun doing it.  Whether you are a beginner or need some help with your conversation skills I will be happy to assist you!

About me:

I’m Diana, a friendly and patient English teacher from the beautiful city of Cape Town currently living in Portugal. In 2017, I completed my TESOL and TEYLT trainings and since then I have worked with students from all around the world both in language schools and online. I have lived and taught English in 5 different countries (Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa) to students of all levels (beginners to advanced). In 2021, I became certified to teach Ielts and have thus helped numerous students with  their exam preparations too.

I'm passionate about learning and teaching languages and have studied Portuguese, Spanish, German and Turkish. Through my own language studies, I have learnt that an active conversational approach is the best way to master a language! Some of my other passions include yoga, travel, food and art!:)

My lessons:

My approach to teaching depends a lot on the level and goals of the student. Each student is unique with different necessities so I don’t have a one size fits all proposition. Lessons are tailored to you and are adapted as you progress.Expect to receive a lot of feedback, corrections and if you would like, homework activities.

Hello! My name is Tim, I’m from England, and I’m a professional English teacher. I trained at International House in London where I gained the Cambridge CELTA qualification, and I’ve worked with students of all levels and of many different nationalities. I’m also a Spanish student (B2-C1 level) so I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language!

I use the ‘communicative approach’ to English teaching, which means that you will have lots of opportunities to practise your speaking skills in a relaxed environment and receive helpful feedback. During a lesson, you have many options; for example, you can follow a structured course (like in a language school), you can develop your speaking skills by having conversation classes (if your level is B1+) or I can help you to prepare for an exam such as IELTS. Hi there! I'm teacher Dio and I have been a teacher for over a decade. I love what I do - I am passionate about languages. I speak 3 languages (Portuguese, Spanish and of course, English). I've lived in Germany, Ireland, and I just recently moved to Spain. I am telling you this because that means I KNOW how learning a language works.  

Something that is important to know is that you DON'T need to live in an English-speaking country to learn English effectively. Everything really is all about you taking some minutes of your day to study and to surround yourself with the language! I am a certified teacher and my experience over the years shows that you don't need to be brilliant, you just need to be committed in order to learn another language.

I am certified by the Cambridge University (CELTA), and I also hold a TEFL Certificate. I have been teaching English for over 10 years, and I have helped students from all around the world. Currently I offer two main courses:

- CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH - This course focuses on fluency, pronunciation, learning a lot of new vocabulary and preparing presentations about different topics! - There are lots of different topics and you can choose from!

- IELTS & FCE/CAE EXAM PREPARATION - I have a 25-lesson course that will teach you EVERYTHING you need to know to pass the IELTS/CAE exams with flying colors! - In addition to that, I have a lot of extra materials you can use to improve your grammar and writing skills!

Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a native English speaker and I have spent most of my life living and working in London, England.

I have a CELTA qualification for teaching English as a foreign language, and I also have a BA in English Literature from a central London university.

My teaching experience has been predominately online in 1-2-1 lessons, but I also have experience teaching in person to groups of children at language camp in the UK.

I plan bespoke lessons specifically to meet your needs. During the trial, or initial lesson I will spend time getting to know you and thinking about how I can best help you to meet your goals.
