Hi! 🇺🇸
My name is Manuel! I am not only a Community Tutor, but also a linguist, as I graduated in Linguistic Mediation and I am currently majoring in Foreign Languages for International Communication at the University of Turin. I have been teaching Italian to foreign people and English/Spanish to Italians for 4+ years.
My lessons will be based on your level and aim: if you just want to learn Italian, the best method is talking and practicing as much as you can. But if you prefer improving other aspects like grammar, writing, or vocabulary, we can focus on them.
I am a sporty guy, I love soccer and hiking. In my spare time, I love traveling and getting in touch with other cultures and ways of life.
And you? What are your passions? Tell me about it during our next lesson!
See you soon!

Pleased to meet you! I am Grazia and I have been teaching Italian to foreigners for more than ten years! I have a great passion for this job and I am always very happy to meet new students and get in touch with their world! My method is based first of all on listening and understanding the needs and attitudes of each student, and in this way I try to offer lessons that are... 'tailor-made'! I believe that grammar is important, but I also always give a lot of space to conversation, communication and fun. The tools I use for my lessons vary greatly: from grammar review sheets to poems, songs, videos... anything that I find stimulating can become a very good working tool! Since obtaining the DITALS certificate to teach Italian to foreigners, I have taught both in Italy and abroad, to students of all ages and in both individual and group lessons. Â One aspect of this work that I find very important (and really valuable!) is building a relationship with the students.Â
After all, teaching allows me to bring together my two greatest passions: the Italian language and... people, from all over the world.
See you soon then... I look forward to meeting you!Â
Please note!!! I look forward to seeing you on Zoom! I have a paid subscription, so no time limit! :)))

Ciao! I like to think that every student of mine was a challenge in a peculiar way. I have worked with European students abroad, retired professionals, University students in Asia, company employees and teenagers: every time I have found the best way to have fun both, taking advantage of any opportunity to understand  my language and my culture!Â
I'm currently working as an online tutor with beginners, mainly from English speaking countries, who are generally not familiar with the language learning process. I usually help them to get some confidence in facing basic conversations as tourists in the country. I like to engage a fun conversation about different topics like my country's culture, Italian modern literature, art and cinema history due to my solid background in these disciplines. I am also a very curious person, keen to explore new topics, so much that I had eventually supported my students'interests through language practice (for example: reading Italian sport magazines together or watching videos about Italian cuisine).
I really believe that having fun teaching is the first cause for having fun learning.

Ciao! 👋 I'm Francesca, I live in the North of Italy and I'm in love with my language!
I've been teaching Italian both online and offline since 2020, when I obtained my CEDILS certification.
Here's a summary of my teaching style and core beliefs:
1) The focus of my classes is helping you to effectively EXCHANGE INFORMATION in Italian
2) I believe that the STUDENT should be at the CENTER of the course and should be constantly motivated by the teacher
3) Grammar to me is like a scavenger hunt, and the quest for REGULARITIES rather than rules in language an exciting one, where we both learn something!
4) I believe MOTIVATION is the basis of a successful language learning path, this is why I'm constantly encouraging my students to strive for greatness!
5) Finally, I believe creating a comfortable & FUN environment in the class is also key to SUCCESS
What are you waiting for?? Book a class with me to get a taste of my teaching style!Â
See you soon 😊

Hi, my name is Chiara and I’m from Italy, but I lived abroad for about 6 years, in the UK, in Australia, in New Zealand and in Perù.Â
I love traveling and meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. That’s why I decided to study languages. I am a polyglot and besides English and Italian, I can also speak Spanish, French, and German. So I know what it’s like to study a foreign language! I can teach you how to improve your speaking, and your listening, because I’ve done it myself in the first place! I also know that sometimes learning a language is not easy, but I know how you can overcome these difficulties.Â
My lessons vary according to the student’s needs. During our first lesson together we will decide what your goals are and what your level is. My lessons focus on conversation to give you a chance to practise what you have studied independently, and then, if needed, we can revise together some grammar points and learn some vocabulary.
My first goal is always to make the student feel comfortable in speaking another language so that they can feel confident about it and make progress more easily.Â
I believe the secret to learning a language is enjoying the process, having fun is the key!
I look forward to meeting you,
A presto!

Ciao! Come stai?
Are you interested in conversational classes to improve your fluency and your self-confidence when you speak Italian?Â
I can guide you with some fun questions through different topics (art, nature, food, movies, traveling) in a very natural setting.
Or maybe you want to improve your language skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking) with a more structured lesson?Â
We can use different materials to observe Italian in an authentic context and learn new grammar rules, words and expressions.
What if you want to prepare for a language certificate?Â
I am a certified CELI examiner, and I can help you prepare for CELI, CILS, or PLIDA, thanks to useful tips and a variety of materials.
Other needs or interests? Just write me! Our lessons can be highly flexible.
Some words about me:

I have been teaching Italian online since 2019. I have a degree in Italian literature and language teaching. I also have a certificate to teach Italian to adults (DITALS I).
I love nature, kayaking, walking, and cycling. When I am not outside, I like to cook, read a good novel or watch a movie.Â
I have a dog and a lot of plants!

Ciao! Sono Arianna!Â
I am a qualified Italian language teacher. I am originally from Sicily, in Italy, but I have been living for many years in Germany where I teach Italian at university and online.Â
What classes are interactive, dynamic, but above all tailored to you, according to your level, interests and goals.Â
My goal is to get you to talk. That is why in my courses there is always a lot of conversation, which is needed to immediately put what you have learnt into practice, but there is also a structure, so there is material that I tailor for you: i.e. pdfs, parts of books, songs, videos etc. or, if you prefer, we can use a book and together choose the one that suits you best!
And also: Is there perhaps a part of the Italian language that interests you most? Great! We can study, for example, an Italian that will be very useful for your holidays in Italy, or the Italian that you need to work in Italy or with Italians.
I not only specialize in teaching the language but because I hold a Masters Degree in Cultural Heritage and Archeology, I have comprehensive knowledge of my country’s deep history, culture, and art to share with you!
I look forward to meeting you, to talking with you to understand how I can help you and how we can achieve your goals! So I welcome you for a trial lesson where we can get to know each other and talk about your study path.Â
A presto!

Hi! It’s Michela from Italy. If you want to learn Italian from scratch or just improve your general competence, widen your vocabulary in a specific field or focus on exam preparation (e.g. CILS) in a friendly and engaging environment, I’ll be more than happy to guide you in becoming a more confident, proficient and autonomous learner and speaker.
Being a language learner myself I find it easy to put myself in my students’ shoes in order to constantly tailor my teaching to their needs.
TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
I've been working as a licensed teacher of English as a foreign language in Italian Secondary Education for several years (permanent position).
TEACHING APPROACH
I use a variety of teaching methods, materials, activities and tools. In particular, I try to take advantage of audio and video materials and love experimenting with new approaches and technologies. I also strongly believe that teaching vocabulary and grammar in context based on topics relevant to my students plays a crucial role in fostering language development. Finally, my students’ questions and feedback are always of great value to me.
Thank you for checking out my profile. If you book a trial session with me, we’ll see together how I can help you shape your learning journey to achieve your goals.

See Reviews From StudentsIf you prefer in-person lessons over online learning, LanguaTalk may not be the best fit for you. Instead, you can search for a tutor on a local service listing website or place an advertisement in your area. However, we do encourage you to try online learning – you have nothing to lose by booking a free trial session. Many students find that the online experience is just as good as in-person learning, with the added benefit of access to higher quality tutors at a lower cost.
Some students might be unsure about learning Italian online because they think it will be very different from in-person learning. However, many students find that the online experience is similar and they often develop strong relationships with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your selected tutor, you'll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. The tutor may also share learning resources with you (such as newspaper articles or YouTube videos) and you'll be able to collaborate in real-time using tools like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper.
Our research suggests that the average hourly rate for private Italian lessons in The Hague is between $25-$35. Since online tutors don't have to travel to you and often live in countries with a lower cost of living, their hourly rate tends to be significantly lower.
Some tutors on LanguaTalk may also provide in-person lessons in The Hague, but most only offer online lessons as it is more convenient and allows them to work from home. Additionally, most tutors are not located in The Hague because they are living elsewhere in the world. If you book a lesson with a tutor, you should assume that the lesson will be conducted online.
Most students take 55-minute lessons. However, some tutors also offer the option of 30-minute lessons. If this option is available, it will be noted on the tutor's profile (below their pricing and above the 'Buy Lessons' button).
In general, 55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. 30-minute lessons may be suitable if you're taking lessons for your child or if you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
One of the benefits of online lessons is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, simply check their calendar to ensure that they have times that fit your schedule. Some tutors may have limited availability due to high demand.
Lessons are taught one-on-one to ensure that you receive customized instruction. During the lessons, your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including language exercises, conversation practice, and cultural notes, to help you reach your learning objectives.
All lessons take place via video call. Your tutor will normally give you a choice of calling tools, all of which are easy to use.
If you're new to LanguaTalk, we'll provide you with a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutors offer these for free. If a tutor does not offer a free trial, the trial price will be 30 percent of their full lesson price, allowing you to still try a session at a reduced cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to determine if the tutor is a good fit for you and get a sense of what online learning is like. The tutor will assess your level and try to understand your needs and interests so that they can tailor any lessons you choose to take. You'll be encouraged to speak as much as possible in Italian, but you can also speak in English if needed.
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for 30 percent of their full lesson price.
LanguaTalk offers personalized 1-on-1 Italian lessons with top-rated tutors. Here's how to get started:
1 - Find a tutor that meets your needs by reviewing their videos, reviews, pricing, and availability.
2 - Book a trial lesson. Many tutors offer a free 30-minute trial, while others offer a discounted trial price.
3 - Have personalized lessons with your chosen tutor via video call. Or try a different tutor if desired.
You don't need to provide credit card information to book a free trial session. Please only book a trial if you're seriously considering taking lessons. Tutor prices vary, and you can use the filter to find one that fits your budget. You can pay for individual lessons or purchase a package for a discount (view a tutor's pricing options on their profile).
