Originally from Paris, where I trained and taught French to both school students and adult learners,  I also studied in London and worked in Scotland.  I'm currently based in Spain.  I have vast experience in teaching in-person and online.

I am a friendly, positive, patient and adaptable teacher. Lessons are taught in a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. For me, teaching is a ongoing passion and my aim is to encourage you and build your confidence.  All lessons are tailored to each student's specific requirements, skills and objectives.  My guiding principle is that learning should be a fun, passionate and pleasant adventure.

Hello, my name is Laura, I’m 30 and I come from Paris (France). 

I am passionate about travelling and culture. I have been working for 5 years for Paris Tourist Office and I know many aspects of our beautiful capital city. When I used to live in Paris, I loved to explore every corner of my favorite neighborhoods. Cooking is also one of my hobbies. French gastronomy abounds with delicious recipes that I love to reproduce. I would be pleased to share all of this with you through my French lessons.

I had the opportunity to support foreigners (from the USA, China, Mexico) in learning French when they were in France. They had different needs and objectives wether they were in France to study or to work. Hence, we worked on adapted topics such as grammatical rules, conjugation or how to express oneself orally for formal or informal conversations. 

For the first part of my higher education, I went to preparatory school in literature. It allowed me to get in-depth knowledge in French language, literature and history. Then I studied in an international context in which I got a Business and Entrepreneurship Bachelor and Marketing and Brand Management Master. Therefore, I am perfectly at ease to teach and offer adapted content depending on my students.

Whether you’re a beginner or advanced e level, I will gladly support you in learning French!

Together, we will the set the objectives you wish to reach depending on your level and motivations. My lessons will be adapted entirely to your needs and to your own pace. I use texts, videos, songs or even podcasts to work on every aspect of the language and to maintain dynamism. We will focus on themed conversations and study vocabulary, prononciation or grammar rules and conjugation. I speak French during the lessons so you can familiarize yourself with the accent and intonations but I can also give you explanations in English. In order to support your progress in French, I will encourage you to let me know about your preferences regarding the method and material I use.

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone. Together we will practice conversation, reading, writing, listening and pronunciation with different kinds of supports. I can prepare you for the DELF A1,A2,B1 or B2 exam. I’m 34 years old, was born in Geneva, Switzerland. I’m a native French and English speaker and I’m fluent in Spanish too.

I’ve been teaching French since 2018 and I’ve had students of all AGES, LEVELS and BACKGROUND. In your first class, we will discuss your GOALS and evaluate your LEVEL, so I can prepare a TAILOR-MADE program for you! I provide everything from articles, to grammar, vocabulary, exercises, etc. So all you have to worry about is to SHOW UP and PRACTICE!

I also like to focus on your CONVERSATION skills and help you improve your PRONUNCIATION, with my method you will be talking French in no time! I always come to class PREPARED and with a BIG SMILE !

I've been teaching French online since 2016, previously having worked developing the skills of young people, adults and foreigners of all levels.

In my opinion, a teacher’s enthusiasm, patience, humour and understanding of their students’ needs are key to help a student learn efficiently, and for the student to enjoy lessons which is important for learning,

I adapt my teaching to your needs which will naturally vary according to your personnel situation, from beginner to advanced level, as a teenager at school or student, or as a mature learner. Choosing topics which interest you is very important.

Your needs may vary such as:

- learning the French language, discovering French culture, history or current affairs.

- seeking conversational French to keep up your level. If you have an intermediate level or above, we can speak about any topic that interests you.

- wanting to improve or refresh your French before visiting France or working in a French speaking country. De

Teaching method:

I use a variety of tools and aids such as books for grammar and vocabulary, specific books for exams such as DELF, press articles, podcasts and literature.

We start with a small test to establish your level and then progress to discussion, reading and writing exercices. I can send you material according to your needs.

About me:

My interests include travel especially in Europe. I spend my time between Provence and Northern Ireland ; nature, animals, and the environment. I loved horse riding ; sustainability ; history, architecture and philosophy ; geopolitics ; food and especially French and Asian food.

Hi! I'm Méloée, I am 28 and I've been teaching French since 2015. I was born and grew up in Bretagne (North-West of France), lived for 7 years in Argentina, 2 years in Marseille (in the South of France) and I live now in Barcelona, Spain. I speak French, Spanish and English, and I am also currently learning Portuguese.

I teach to all levels and ages. Conversation classes, to prepare a trip, an exam, to learn from zero, to practice grammar... we'll see together what are your goals and preferences and I'll tailor my lessons to you. 

In my experience the quickest and best way to progress is speaking and practicing a lot, so I always try to include a lot of practice in my lessons. 

For example, a class may start with a text or video (more or less difficult depending on your level) to practice comprehension, then I'll ask you some specific questions about the document to see if you understood well and see the new vocabulary. Then I'll ask more generic questions around the theme of the video/text, so you talk about your opinion on the subject, related experiences... This way, you'll speak a lot and it allows me to identify easily if you may need some theoretical exercises on specific points.

I will always build my classes depending on your needs. If you are confortable using specifics learning methods or material, let me know and we will plan something together.

About me : I was born in Switzerland. My mother tongue is French, which I always speak with my relatives and my friends. I also speak Italian as I grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland (Ticino) and I still live there

Hello, my name is Marvin, I am French but I live in Galicia, west of Spain. I have been an online teacher for three years now during which I have given more than 1600 lessons. Also, I am currently finishing my master's degree in didactics to teach French. And before that, I graduated from the Alliance Française to be certified as a professional teacher.

During my lessons, I know how to be flexible to adapt to your needs and your personality. If you want conversation classes, we can discuss freely or prepare the session through an article or any other authentic document and I will bring you the necessary corrections over the course of the exchange. If you are looking to improve a particular language point, my goal will be to expose you to it and help you determine how it works. In addition, thanks to my knowledge of the different levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, I can adapt my level of French as well as the topics worked on to each person. My students highlight that I am very patient and also reactive and precise in answering their various questions.

I myself have experience in language learning. I speak English and Spanish at an advanced level, I have some notions of German and Japanese and I am currently learning Galician. I am therefore aware of the different stages in learning a language and I will be able to help you both from my point of view as a teacher and as a student.

I am Chantal, a native French speaker. I also speak English fluently, and I have some knowledge of Spanish. I have been a Certified Secondary School Teacher for 20+ years, and I am still just as passionate about teaching!

Together, we can practice the four skills of language learning: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Having learned two languages myself, I understand how intimidating language classes can sometimes be. That’s why I craft your lessons according to your level, and personal needs. 

I provide the material and tools you need, and I am open to any suggestions in terms of material or topics. I use pictures, videos, songs, articles, and more to make the lessons varied and enriching.

I offer a friendly environment, where you can have fun,  make mistakes, retry, and learn at your own pace.

Bonjour ! My name is Adeline & I'm a full-time French teacher. I also speak English fluently and a bit of Spanish. I live in France, my home country, and I like to do conversational classes to teach my language, and sometimes a bit of my culture, to foreigner students. If you want to know a little bit more about me, here are the things I'm passionate about: cooking, gardening, video games, nature, travels and other cultures. My lessons

Whether you are here to learn French from scratch, or to improve that language, you've come to the right person. As I can speak English and Spanish, don't worry if your French is not completely fluent: we will work on it together. I learned my other languages while travelling so I'm very aware about the fact that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it everyday in casual conversations.
I usualy like to start with a first conversation to evaluate your French level and your goals. We will then decide together what kind of class, duration and frequency best suits your needs, level and availability. Then I will adapt the way I speak and teach to your personal needs. 
We will spend the majority of our time together having conversations in French and, if you want, I also can provide formal lessons with exercices & oral or written comprehension.
