I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests.

My teaching method is based on oral communication and pronunciation, which doesn’t mean that you won’t learn and practice grammar and structures which are necessary to express oneself properly. A few years ago, when I was in bed at night and almost ready to sleep, I used to ask myself this question : "Why would people want to learn French? Are they crazy?"

Well... Are you? 

It definitely takes guts for someone to take the obscure path of French learning, especially when you know that almost no francophone can speak French perfectly. And it is this courageous desire detected in French learners that made me want to start teaching this language three years ago. In fact, besides the syntactic complexity of this language (which, by the way, is most likely to be a cliché), French is a very poetic language, as it allows countless accesses to figurative speeches (so if you tend to be a little sarcastic at times, this might be perfect for you). Plus, French is cool and sounds fancy too, so... 😗
