My name is Edit and I am living in Japan. I attended an English-Hungarian Bilingual Secondary Grammar School, where I developed my love for the English language. I have always been interested in Eastern languages and cultures as well, so I decided to specialize in Japanese language and culture at university. After graduating, I moved to Japan, where I have been working as an English teacher for more than 2 years now. I have an IELTS certificate and I also completed a TEFL teaching course. 

I focus on creating a relaxed, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere during my lessons. I encourage my students to make mistakes because that's the only way to master a language. I always personalize the lesson material and adjust it to the student's personal goal and level. I have been teaching English for 12 years. I spent some time teaching in China (I can speak a tiny bit of Chinese) and now I am back to teaching online in the USA! Hi. I am Chris and I’m a qualified and experienced teacher of English as a foreign language and a native speaker of British English. I have taken more than 6000 lessons online and have many regular students. I am very patient and passionate about the English language. Hi there! I'm teacher Dio and I have been a teacher for over a decade. I love what I do - I am passionate about languages. I speak 3 languages (Portuguese, Spanish and of course, English). I've lived in Germany, Ireland, and I just recently moved to Spain. I am telling you this because that means I KNOW how learning a language works.  

Something that is important to know is that you DON'T need to live in an English-speaking country to learn English effectively. Everything really is all about you taking some minutes of your day to study and to surround yourself with the language! I am a certified teacher and my experience over the years shows that you don't need to be brilliant, you just need to be committed in order to learn another language.

I am certified by the Cambridge University (CELTA), and I also hold a TEFL Certificate. I have been teaching English for over 10 years, and I have helped students from all around the world. Currently I offer two main courses:

- CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH - This course focuses on fluency, pronunciation, learning a lot of new vocabulary and preparing presentations about different topics! - There are lots of different topics and you can choose from!

- IELTS & FCE/CAE EXAM PREPARATION - I have a 25-lesson course that will teach you EVERYTHING you need to know to pass the IELTS/CAE exams with flying colors! - In addition to that, I have a lot of extra materials you can use to improve your grammar and writing skills!  

If your English level isn't very high, we can also discuss a course that will be aimed to give you a solid base so that you feel confident to express yourself in English.

I’m a qualified teacher with a bachelor’s degree and a CELTA qualification from Cambridge - for teaching English as a foreign language. I have over 30 years of experience teaching English in classrooms and online to ALL levels of learners.

I specialize in improving fluency and confidence in daily conversation at home and at work. My approach is holistic which means we will use relevant topics and speaking tasks to learn new words and practice language skills.
