I'm Lisa and I'm here to help you become French. 

It's very simple : With me you will learn, have fun and love the French language more.  

I believe that language learning should be an enjoyable and engaging process, and I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to take risks, make mistakes, and develop their language skills at their own pace.

To achieve this, I tailor my lessons to each student's level of proficiency and learning style. I work with them to identify their specific strengths and weaknesses, and I create lesson plans that address their areas of need while also building upon their existing knowledge and skills.

My program is unique in that it combines traditional teaching methods with innovative technology and multimedia resources. I use a range of teaching materials, including textbooks, videos, and interactive online tools, to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience that appeals to students of all ages and backgrounds.

In addition to providing regular feedback and support, I also encourage students to practice outside of class by providing them with a variety of resources and exercises that help them develop their language skills on their own.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you become confident and proficient in the French language, while also fostering a love and appreciation for the language and its culture. By providing a personalized and engaging learning experience, I believe that I can help you achieve your language learning goals and develop a lifelong passion for learning.

I've been teaching French online since 2016, previously having worked developing the skills of young people, adults and foreigners of all levels.

In my opinion, a teacher’s enthusiasm, patience, humour and understanding of their students’ needs are key to help a student learn efficiently, and for the student to enjoy lessons which is important for learning,

I adapt my teaching to your needs which will naturally vary according to your personnel situation, from beginner to advanced level, as a teenager at school or student, or as a mature learner. Choosing topics which interest you is very important.

Your needs may vary such as:

- learning the French language, discovering French culture, history or current affairs.

- seeking conversational French to keep up your level. If you have an intermediate level or above, we can speak about any topic that interests you.

- wanting to improve or refresh your French before visiting France or working in a French speaking country. De

- wishing to improve your French for professional use.

- looking to pass French proficiency exams such as DELF (A2 to B2) and DALF (C1 to C2).

Teaching method:

I use a variety of tools and aids such as books for grammar and vocabulary, specific books for exams such as DELF, press articles, podcasts and literature.

We start with a small test to establish your level and then progress to discussion, reading and writing exercices. I can send you material according to your needs.

About me:

My interests include travel especially in Europe. I spend my time between Provence and Northern Ireland ; nature, animals, and the environment. I loved horse riding ; sustainability ; history, architecture and philosophy ; geopolitics ; food and especially French and Asian food.

Hi! I'm Méloée, I am 28 and I've been teaching French since 2015. I was born and grew up in Bretagne (North-West of France), lived for 7 years in Argentina, 2 years in Marseille (in the South of France) and I live now in Barcelona, Spain. I speak French, Spanish and English, and I am also currently learning Portuguese.

I teach to all levels and ages. Conversation classes, to prepare a trip, an exam, to learn from zero, to practice grammar... we'll see together what are your goals and preferences and I'll tailor my lessons to you. 

In my experience the quickest and best way to progress is speaking and practicing a lot, so I always try to include a lot of practice in my lessons. 

For example, a class may start with a text or video (more or less difficult depending on your level) to practice comprehension, then I'll ask you some specific questions about the document to see if you understood well and see the new vocabulary. Then I'll ask more generic questions around the theme of the video/text, so you talk about your opinion on the subject, related experiences... This way, you'll speak a lot and it allows me to identify easily if you may need some theoretical exercises on specific points.

I will always build my classes depending on your needs. If you are confortable using specifics learning methods or material, let me know and we will plan something together.

In conversation classes, I’ll give you plenty of time to speak and I will provide you with detailed feedback that will help you get a better understanding of the use of French. I choose topics we can talk about during and plan lessons around them. However, you are very welcome to choose topics that fit your own interests.

For exam preparation classes, I will focus on improving your writing and speaking skills to help you reach the score you aim at. I have helped many students get the B2+ and more in TEF and TCF Canada exams.

As for beginners classes, we can use a manual or have informal classes.

I’m very patient and will provide a cheerful and safe environment where you can talk without any stress or fear of being judged. I try to stick to French as much as possible during the lessons in order to build up your confidence about being able to navigate through your new language. 

I believe in helping you master French as it is spoken/written by actual French-speaking people, not textbooks. This means adapting the material and language level to the situation. Indeed, we don’t usually speak in daily life the way a journalist does on the news. And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential.

My name is Célia, a native French teacher living abroad. I graduated with a master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language [teaching French to foreigners] in 2020 at the University of Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, and I became a certified DELF (A1–B2) corrector in 2022. I grew up in a small village near Montpellier, and I have lived in Northern Ireland, Germany, and Asia.

During my master’s degree, I learned how to create didactic units (lessons), design exams, and work with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I have been teaching French both online and on-site—in international schools and at the Alliance Française : from A1 to C2 levels, to learners of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, looking to build your skills, or just want to practice speaking, I’ll be happy to help!

In our first class, I’ll ask you why you want to learn French, what your goals and interests are, what your current level is, and if you want to focus on any particular aspect of the language. This first conversation during our trial lesson helps me get a better idea of your level so I can prepare a plan tailored to your needs. The materials I use are varied: listening exercises from media sources, text comprehension (books, articles, excerpts), grammar practice, and more. All resources are adapted to your level and objectives. Most materials are provided, and I also share a lesson summary and homework after each session （-＾▽＾-).

My teaching method is mainly based on communicative and action-oriented approaches. I aim to involve learners actively in their learning process and help them speak as much French as possible, in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. I know learning a new language isn’t always easy—mistakes are part of the process! I’m here to guide you, support you, and help you gain confidence step by step.

Bonjour ! My name is Adeline & I'm a full-time French teacher. I also speak English fluently and a bit of Spanish. I live in France, my home country, and I like to do conversational classes to teach my language, and sometimes a bit of my culture, to foreigner students. If you want to know a little bit more about me, here are the things I'm passionate about: cooking, gardening, video games, nature, travels and other cultures. I also enjoy learning new things therefore do not hesitate to tell me everything about your very own interests :)

My lessons

Whether you are here to learn French from scratch, or to improve that language, you've come to the right person. As I can speak English and Spanish, don't worry if your French is not completely fluent: we will work on it together. I learned my other languages while traveling so I'm very aware about the fact that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it everyday in casual conversations.
I usually like to start with a first conversation to evaluate your French level and your goals. We will then decide together what kind of class, duration and frequency best suits your needs, level and availability. Then I will adapt the way I speak and teach to your personal needs. 
We will spend the majority of our time together having conversations in French and, if you want, I also can provide formal lessons with exercises & oral or written comprehension.

About me?

 Initially I finished my baccalaureate in Literature (2001) but since then life brought me a bit everywhere. I volunteered for various populations (4 years), and graduated in BSSW (2019). Swiss, I call myself a wanderer because my heart got colored with all the beautiful cultures I have encountered on my exotic journey in Europe, Kenya, and Philippines. 

Since 2020, I have been blessed with wonderful students from all around the world: more than 150 students from +30 different nationalities. I love my work and the people I meet on the way!

Bonjour! 

 I come from Nancy in the north-east of France. I lived one year in Spain and  I am living now in Dublin. 

 I studied Performing Art and film studies in France, Spain and in Ireland. I am passionate about travelling, discovering new cultures and art. I completed a diploma to teach French to foreigners (DAEFLE- Alliance Française de Paris) in 2023. I am also an examiner and corrector for the DELF-DALF exam.

I started teaching French part-time 6 years ago when I moved to Dublin. I used to help Irish teenagers to prepare their French exams (Leaving Cert - Junior Cert) and students at the University (preparing oral exams, proof-reading essays).  I have been teaching French online since April 2020 and in person to adults and children in some languages school since February 2021. 

I teach French to all levels (beginners to advanced) and all ages (kids, teenagers, adults). I can help you to improve your French skills (grammar, vocabulary, French culture, oral fluency) , to prepare your essays, oral presentation, job interview, Delf-Dalf exams  … With  children I usually use a power point to learn basics vocabulary and sentences, and make French games with them. 

I am flexible to your needs, level and way of learning. I use videos and articles based on your interests and encourage practising conversation. I also often relate the lessons to French culture as film, music, news , literature ... I can provide grammar lessons and exercises.
