BONJOUR! My name is Charlotte and I’m looking forward to becoming your FRENCH TEACHER :-)

I’m 36 years old, was born in Geneva, Switzerland. I’m a native French and English speaker and I’m fluent in Spanish too.

I’ve been teaching French since 2018 and I’ve had students of all AGES, LEVELS and BACKGROUND. In your first class, we will discuss your GOALS and evaluate your LEVEL, so I can prepare a TAILOR-MADE program for you! I provide everything from articles, to grammar, vocabulary, exercises, etc. So all you have to worry about is to SHOW UP and PRACTICE!

I also like to focus on your CONVERSATION skills and help you improve your PRONUNCIATION, with my method you will be talking French in no time! I always come to class PREPARED and with a BIG SMILE !

I like making my lessons FUN using real life contexts, cultural aspects, visual aids and games. Most importantly I love to teach and see you improving your French!

Hello !

My name is Florence. I come from France and I am an experienced French teacher for foreigners, certified by the Alliance Française de Paris and hold a Master’s degree in FLE (french for foreigners) to teach you my mother tongue. I have experience teaching a wide range of adults from all continents and at all levels.

But also ... before starting to teach French full-time and because of a double technical and commercial training, I worked for a long time in marketing and international trade for companies in various sectors of activities: electrical construction, car accessories, shoes… I also created my own business to distribute my creations of costume jewelry.

I’m originally from the East of France, a small town near the Swiss border, and I've been around a lot! I have lived in different regions of France: from North to South, from East to West, from Paris to Nice, from Lyon to Albi. After living in Valparaiso, Chile, I returned to Europe and then settled in Spain for almost 15 years. Today, I live in Alicante with my family.

I hope to meet you very soon and share very pleasant sessions with you. Please note that I made the choice to teach online only to ADULTS.

I'm a French teacher for adults and a professional watercolour artist .

I'm originally from France but have lived in the UK for over 20 years.  

 I've been teaching French informally since 2009.

- My clients included professionals, students and people wishing  to learn French for pleasure.

- I use texts, videos, articles, songs and a lot of exercises in my classes.

- I focus on pronunciation, grammar, syntax and vocabulary.

- I tailor every lesson to make sure my students get the best out of each course.

It is always a pleasure to be able to have a fluent conversation (or a heated debate) with students who sometimes started as total beginners and to see them acing their exams.

As for the method, I use trusted manuals and activity books because I believe in structure, but also material that suits your interests and tastes - from literature to popular songs, news to scientific articles, series, and movies (subtitled or not), online resources and grammar exercises. Resources are shared on a Slack group where lessons are summarized, and tasks listed. I can also tailor-make lessons for a specific objective like a job interview or a power point presentation.

Teaching French has been my main activity for several years both privately and at the Alliance Française. I am outgoing and chatty, but homework is not optional (at least if you want to improve fast!).

My teaching approach is primarily focused on oral practice. I firmly believe that communication is the key to mastering a language, which is why my lessons are interactive and based on lively, real-life exchanges. Whether through discussions, role-playing, or real-world simulations, I emphasize speaking skills to help you gain fluency and confidence. I have worked with adults, teenagers, and children, adjusting my methods to suit each individual. Teaching younger learners has allowed me to develop fun and creative techniques to make learning French both enjoyable and motivating. 

As an expatriate myself, I understand the challenges of learning a language in an international environment, which allows me to tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each student. Originally from Paris, where I trained and taught French to both school students and adult learners,  I also studied in London and worked in Scotland.  I'm currently based in Spain.  I have vast experience in teaching in-person and online.

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone. Together we will practice conversation, reading, writing, listening and pronunciation with different kinds of supports. I can prepare you for the DELF A1,A2,B1 or B2 exam. A little about me. I’m a native French speaker from Northern France, though my friends like to call me a “woman with a suitcase” because of my love for travel and exploring new places. My journey to teaching wasn’t a traditional one, but I’ve been passionately teaching French for three years now. What inspires me most is seeing my students achieve their goals and grow more confident in their language skills. 

I’m always thinking about new ways to help French learners succeed. Recently, I’ve introduced the idea of French immersion stays, offering a unique opportunity for students to practice the language in a fully immersive environment while experiencing authentic French culture. 

As someone currently learning two other languages myself, I know the joys and challenges of mastering a new language. This shared experience motivates me to create lessons that are practical, engaging, and focused on real progress.

Of course, I always adapt my method to your individual situation

About me : I was born in Switzerland. My mother tongue is French, which I always speak with my relatives and my friends. I also speak Italian as I grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland (Ticino) and I still live there

I also speak English, a bit of Serbian and Russian
