My name is Maribel, I'm Colombian, and I'm a respiratory therapist and language teacher. Currently, I'm studying a master’s degree in Neuro-pedagogy. Thanks to all this knowledge, I use a methodology that is 100% personalized to your needs and desires. 

I am currently specializing in Spanish for travelers, this specialty is a little different from general Spanish, because here we look for a specific goal for your learning, such as a conference, a upcoming trip or simply learning specific terminology of your area.

Together we will set a goal, and in base on that we will create your curriculum, where you are the leader and I give you recommendations. 

 I implement mindfulness, and breathe work exercises to bring all our attention to the class and to favor the concentration and maximize the feeling of joy while learning. We will use online platforms, games, videos, and audios to create fun and interactive classes. I take the time to design the curriculum for each student because we all learn different.

My lessons are personalized to each student, but if he/she is a completely beginner I usually follow a structure (unless asked differently):

 💌 GRAMMAR + MORPHOLOGY + READING COMPREHENSION ➡️  we dedicate the first 15-20 minutes to review any grammar topics, some vocabulary + reading comprehension, the rest of the lesson we practice your conversation skill. I'll give you feedback constantly!

🗣 CONVERSATION + LISTENING ➡️  the key is practice, practice and practice some more! You will have feedback on your pronunciation and you will improve your fluency. You'll expand your vocabulary and learn specific conversation structures as well. We also focus on gaining confidence as you speak. My moto: "focus on conversation, not perfection".

💼 SPANISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES ➡️  (only B1-C2 levels)  Spanish for Business: I provide a course for students that need help with Spanish in a business or professional context.

Hello, my name is Diana. I am a graduated university language teacher and ELE - certified. I've got more than 5 years teaching languages. I taught Spanish for children and teenagers in the USA for 2 years. I've got a lot experience teaching English and Spanish online. I was a Spanish teacher volunteer in Peru during my university studies, but more than the degree I am enthusiastic, responsible and empathetic person. I teach  with my heart and soul, my students receive the necessary attention and motivation in order to achieve meaningful learning.  I love teaching Spanish and getting to know students from all over the world. My name is Gloria. I was born in Barcelona but nowadays I live in a quiet place not far from the city. I am bilingual in Spanish and Catalan and I also speak English and French.

I have been teaching Spanish as a second language online since January 2015 and I have been teaching private classes in other topics to teenagers for about 15 years. Before teaching I had jobs related to my Higher Technical Certificate in Administration.

I know how hard is to learn a language, I know it because I earned two certificates in languages, my First Certificate in English at the Polytechnic of Central London and a Certificat de la Langue Française à l’ l’Alliance Française de Paris.

But what about my lessons? if you book lessons with me, we are not going to do only grammar. We are going to speak!

I will plan lessons according to your needs, level and desires and I’ll correct your mistakes throughout the lesson. I can help you with your pronunciation, vocabulary, expressions and grammar and we’ll focus on your needs based on our conversations.
