¡Hola!
My name is Lorena. I am from Barcelona, I have lived in UK and Japan and now I live in A Coruña, in the northwest of Spain. I love cats, travelling, getting to know people from all over the world and, of course, languages. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Japanese and a little bit of French. So I can also give you some advice having being a language student myself.
I have been teaching for more than 16 years and I have 9 years of experience as an online teacher. I love technology, it helps teachers to adapt our classes to students with different learning styles and it makes it easier to provide an immersion experience as well. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and I am a certified DELE examiner so I can help you pass an exam as well.
My classes are very communicative. You will be start speaking Spanish from day one! And if you are interested, I can include culture topics on my classes so that you can get to know about Spanish music, cinema, history or news.
Are you looking for an experienced teacher who can adapt their lessons to your needs and interests? Do you want to learn Spanish while having fun? Please get in touch. I am looking forward to meeting you!
¡Hasta pronto! :)

My name is Esther and I live in Changwon, a beautiful city in the south of South Korea. I came to Asia to work in the 3D graphic design industry but end up falling in love with teaching languages and culture. To become a good teacher and help my students I got a Spanish Philology undergraduate degree, a master’s degree in ELE (teaching Spanish as a second language) and became a certified DELE examiner. I have experience teaching students from many countries and priorities, in academies and online.
As a Spanish teacher, I am very patient and give you time to express by yourself. I don’t only focus on the correction of the grammar or pronunciation, but also give a lot of importance to the ability to communicate ideas and navigate through specific cultural situations.
In our first lesson I will speak with you and will figure out your learning plan based on your learning characteristics, priorities, and tastes.

Me gusta preparar mis clases orientadas a las necesidades de cada estudiante y conseguir juntos los objetivos. Puedo mantener una conversación en inglés o resolver alguna duda, pero prefiero que la clase sea siempre en español para que mis alumnos pierdan el miedo a expresarse.
Me hace mucha ilusión comenzar este nuevo proyecto online.

My name is Daniela. I am from Bolivia and currently live in The Netherlands. I am passionate about helping people who are interested in learning Spanish. I have 4.5 years of experience teaching at University and working as a tutor. Also, I have a postdoc University Teaching Qualification (UTQ), which allows me to develop, teach and tutor courses at university level.
What characterizes me most as a teacher is that I have the ability to quickly and fully understand the learning process of the student, because I was trained to do this. On a personal level I consider to be myself to be a patient, determinant, and social person. Besides the viewpoint of a professional I can also understand you well from the viewpoint of being a student, as I study Dutch myself at this moment. Tourism is another speciality of mine. I followed a master in it in Salamanca, which made it possible for me to live abroad for a while and have a cultural experience in another country.
My Spanish classes I make as interactive, practical and didactic as possible for you through songs, games, and exercises, which are according to your level and your needs. In our first class we will develop a study plan. To me it is important to know what your motivation is and what doubts you may have. That way, we can make class a fun learning place together!

➡️I am from Colombia. I really enjoy teaching Spanish to adults and children. I have been a teacher online for two years. Currently, I am a biologist studying for a master's degree in ecology and biodiversity 🐸🌱🌼. I like to travel ✈️, paint 🎨, read 📔and watch series🎥.
I like to explain as many times as necessary until the student understands. I have a lot of talking points for adults and a lot of energy for children.
➡️ I can offer you this:
• Nice, respectful, and dynamic conversations.
• A study plan adapting based on your abilities (or your child's)
• SLOW neutral and clear speaking so you can understand the lessons easily
. • Materials to help you learn outside of our lessons if the parents want.
• Unlimited email support.
➡️ My classes:
• Lessons guided by your interests, not mine.
• Readings, homework, and dynamic class (Painting, drawing for practice for teenegers)
• Make mistakes anytime! I will help you and correct you.
• I adapt to the teaching style and learning pace of the student.
📌I offer two different styles of classes:
1. Conversational classes for adults: You improve your fluency through reading and discussing different topics.
2. Classes for teenagers: They learn to read and speak in Spanish in a fun way.

Hello everyone! My name is Clara, I am a Spanish teacher from Madrid. I have 5 years of experience as Spanish, French and German teacher (face to face and online). I have taught students from different countries.
I prepare my own materials to adapt lessons to each student, and we use too the book "Aula internacional" for general Spanish courses.
I teach courses to pass DELE (Spanish exam) by using different teaching methods: I explain the grammar points needed for the exam, I provide vocabulary worksheets focus on DELE, and we practice different tests samples (you do not need to buy any preparation book, because I will provide you all the materials you will need to pass DELE, and these materials are based on the most famous DELE methods and DELE books such as ´Las claves del nuevo DELE` or ´Preparación al DELE`)
Also, I do conversational courses. I have two conversational courses: the first one is focused on general conversation about daily life, and the second one is focused on specific topics (technology, education, health, environment, Spanish culture, Spanish history...; depending on the students preferences).
I hope to see you soon! :)

ME AS A TEACHER AND TEACHING STYLE
I consider myself to be an easy person to talk to, patient and fun. I have experience teaching different kinds of students from kids to adults in both online and classroom setting (more than 1300 lessons online + 3 years of classroom setting experience). I have been implementing a combination of the Flipped classroom and communicative approach into the lessons and so far, I have seen great improvement in my students' ability to communicate.
TYPES OF LESSONS AND MATERIALS:
Flipped classroom programme: It'll especially boost your Speaking skills in an organised, structured and visual way. Materials will be sent every weekend (video lessons, PDFS, flashcards, grammar games...) and all skills will be covered. In class, we’ll try to practice what you learnt through speaking activities.
Flex lessons: They can be a mix of structure lesson (the one above) and flexible lessons. You can also choose practicing your Spanish through my interactive magazine (B1-B2) which includes: articles, videos, expressions ... In class we can do debates and discussions around these topics.
Conversation programme: Based on the books “Conversar en español I & II”. We’ll do lot of controlled speaking practice. The course also includes access to the Power Points , audio files and notes from the lesson.

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).
I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.
In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. That is why I aim to provide you with a supportive, engaging and thought-provoking environment in which your oral production will take the lead role. Having said that, I am very flexible, and I will adjust my methods according to your specific needs and requirements. On every session, corrections made will be provided on a customized Google doc, so that you can always refer to it whenever you want to study and keep track of our lessons.
It will be my pleasure to help you to build up your confidence and fluency in Spanish. See you soon!
See Reviews From StudentsThe vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, you’ll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the ‘Buy Lessons’ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if they’re for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, just check their calendar to make sure that they have available times that fit your schedule. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have a lot of students.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutor’s full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, you’ll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experiences, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever Spanish tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
New to LanguaTalk? We'll give you a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutors offer these for free. If they do not, the price will be just 30 percent of their full lesson price, so you can still try a session at minimal cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in Spanish as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too!
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is quite right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for just 30 percent of their full lesson price.
On LanguaTalk, you can find exceptional tutors for 1-on-1 Spanish lessons tailored to your goals and learning preferences. Here’s how to try it for yourself:
1 - Find your ideal tutor by browsing videos, reviews, pricing and availability.
2 - Book a trial. Many tutors offer a 30-minute trial for free; others charge a discounted price.
3 - Take personalised lessons with your new tutor via video call. Or try someone else.
No card is required to book a free trial session. Please only book if you're considering taking lessons. Pricing varies by tutor and you can use the filter to find someone who fits your budget. You can pay one lesson at a time, or buy in bulk for a discount (open a tutor's profile to see their pricing options).
We’re confident you’ll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutors’ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the '?' in the corner of the screen. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
Sometimes students tell us that they're not sure about learning Spanish online because they think it’ll be completely different to learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a solid relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen tutor, you’ll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. The tutor will typically also share learning resources with you (newspaper articles, YouTube, etc.) and you’ll be able to collaborate in real-time using a tool like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper.
Whether you live in the city centre or the suburbs of Melbourne, there are many options for learning Spanish. You could use an app or a software program if you're looking to pick up basic vocabulary and learn some grammar rules. Alternatively, you could attend group lessons with Spanish tutors in Melbourne if you're keen for a social experience. Or, you could take 1-on-1 lessons with a private tutor. This isn't the cheapest way to learn a language but it's possibly the most effective, assuming you have a good tutor. Learning online rather than face-to-face may make private tutors a more affordable option. Check the tutor profiles above to see how much it's likely to cost. Prices vary a lot depending on the tutor, but will usually be cheaper than learning with a Spanish tutor in Melbourne, face-to-face.
Tutors on LanguaTalk sometimes provide lessons locally, but most only provide online lessons as it is more convenient and allows them to work from home. In addition, most tutors are not teaching Spanish in Melbourne because they're living elsewhere in the world. If you decide to book with a tutor, you should assume that they can only teach you online.
If you're really not keen on learning with a teacher via video call, LanguaTalk isn't going to be the right choice for you. You can instead search for a tutor on a local service listing website, or put up an advert in your local area. We do encourage you to give it a try learning online though - you've got nothing to lose as you can book a free trial session. Most people find the experience is as good as learning face-to-face, but with the benefit of having access to better tutors at a lower cost.
Our research suggests that the average cost for private Spanish lessons in Melbourne is somewhere between $25-$35 per hour. As online tutors do not need to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living, the hourly cost tends to be significantly lower.
