Hello from Los Angeles! My name is Sean and I am both a TEFL-certified English teacher, and a Lean Six Sigma-certified project manager with a business background in IT, analytics, and recruiting. I'm also a language learner just like you (Spanish B2 and German B1), so I know the joys and challenges of learning and improving a second language very well. Hi, my name is Christian and I am a third year student at university in England. I have a love for languages and am currently studying Spanish. This year I am spending a year in Valencia. I have over two years experience tutoring both Spanish and English online helping beginners through to students getting ready for exams.

For the last two years I have taught online, both English and Spanish. My classes focus on conversation and develop cultural understanding as well as linguistic skills. Me as a Teacher
I am a professional English teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience mainly in US - NYC and UK - East Midlands. Initially as a college English and Maths teacher, these days I teach online. My learners are students who tend to improve their school grades, students who are preparing for international exams, business professionals who work or intend to work for international companies or people who learn English for pleasure.  For every individual I usually prepare some tasks for a free talk, grammar practice or a role-play situation with targeting vocabulary and phrases. There is always a summary, a given feedback at the end of the class which helps my learners to make progress highly visible.

I believe that every learner is different and teaching them should be personalized. I like to apply different teaching methods to see which one would be the most productive. Of course, I need to meet student several times to be able to find out his/her learning style and be able to create a teaching strategy. In my experience, an individual approach, a personalized topic and mutual effort definitely bring some fruit.
