Hello! Welcome. I'm Natalí, from Buenos Aires (Argentina). I'm a Spanish teacher and I'm also studying to become a Music and Singing teacher. Languages, music, and teaching are my favorite things to do. I believe education is the fundamental solution to improving the world, which is why I love being a teacher.

Hi everyone! I'm Mariángeles and I'm from Huelva, a city near Seville. I have been working as a private teacher for over 10 years now. I really enjoy meeting new people at language exchanges, travelling and learning about other cultures.

 I lived in Milan for two years and in Dublin for a year and a half. Both experiences were unforgettable and I would like to share them with you.

Regarding to my studies, I have a degree in Tourism and a double degree in Humanities, Translation and Interpreting. Languages are my passion since I was a child and I will be more than happy to share my passion with you all. I am a very well-organised and peaceful person. 

During my lessons I always try to develop a relationship with all my students in order to discover their interests and make my lessons more interesting and enjoyable. For this reason, my motto is "make learning fun and practical".

During the lessons you will practice all the skills so that you can have a good command of Spanish.

We will go through different kind of activities: listening comprehension exercises, exercises about idioms and informal/formal vocabulary, formal/informal writings, rewriting exercises, etc.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. That is why I aim to provide you with a supportive, engaging and thought-provoking environment in which your oral production will take the lead role. Having said that, I am very flexible, and I will adjust my methods according to your specific needs and requirements. On every session, corrections made will be provided on a customized Google doc, so that you can always refer to it whenever you want to study and keep track of our lessons.

I am up to date with the newest learning theories, I use "Language Transfer" and "Comprehensible Input", so the materials are adapted to these methods, focusing on learning in context. Hello, I'm Ruth, and I am from Peru. I live in Cusco, the city of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located. I'd love to be your future Spanish tutor!  Likewise, I've been teaching for a while, working with a diverse range of students. This experience has helped me understand how individuals learn at different stages of life. Also, my knowledge of English allows me to connect with students and help them grasp the nuances of the Spanish language. I really enjoy teaching and supporting students to master my native language, of which I am very passionate.

My teaching style is all about making learning fun and interactive. I'll simplify things for you, especially boosting your confidence in speaking. It's important to note that our classes are mostly conversational because speaking is where you'll truly master Spanish. However, I'll adjust the classes to your needs. We'll discuss topics you enjoy and apply them to practical scenarios, empowering you to communicate effectively in everyday situations.

During our classes, I'll be typing out your mistakes. It's easy for me to spot errors since Spanish is my mother tongue, and at the end of each class, we'll go over them together. My lessons are directed to students of all levels looking to develop their own speaking and writing style in Spanish. I believe that the creative drive is one of the most powerful accelerators of learning and in particular, language learning; so my classes involve acting exercises, fun writing prompts, vocal training akin to singers' training, and a variety of further creative work.

We will work on near perfect pronunciation through vocal practice that takes from singing practice, but focuses on diction. You'll become aware of how the muscles of your mouth and face create sound, and how using different resonance points throughout your face will get you to reproduce just the sound you were stuck with. Muscle memory, baby!

Fluency in articulating your own thoughts and essence in Spanish is achievable through writing prompts that do feel important for you. To write about a topic that actually matters to you, I'll provide you with beautiful vocabulary words, and we'll get through grammatical forms that may better encapsulate your ideas and feelings. I will help you make Spanish your own.

If you are wanting to absorb a particular part of Hispanic or Latino culture (e.g. Rosalía's composition, rap music, particular accents, reggeaton's lyrics), we will investigate and go through the elements at interest to get you to the point of creation. If you are a musician or a writer, I can help you use the rhythmic essence of Spanish in your own art. Hit me up!

Within every technique I use, I work with my knowledge of neural connection strengthening and weakening, all facilitated through repetition, reward, understanding and reprogramming of reflexes, investigation of previous outdated strategies, etc. Emotional management is key to success, and we'll work on that in your training just as much as in the linguistic side.
