I’m a native Spanish teacher from Ruzafa, Valencia (Spain), certified by Universidad de Nebrija. I'm teaching and improving my students skills since 2014. I can teach from conversation lessons to preparation for DELE certificates (from A1 to C2). I have experience in online and face to face lessons: my method is based on conversation (acquiring fluency) and expanding, in a practical way, your grammatical knowledge and vocabulary to improve. My interests are: music, finance, agriculture, chess, political news, psychology and reading. The priority is to advance in your Spanish with my help through practice and conversation.

Me gusta ser un profesor útil, que cada clase aproveche el tiempo, con planificación pero también con espacio para la improvisación y para el uso del español en un entorno relajado. 

Tengo experiencia en clases online y presenciales de español: mi método se basa fundamentalmente en la conversación (adquirir soltura) y en adquirir de forma práctica conocimientos gramaticales y de vocabulario. Mis intereses son, entre otros, la música, las finanzas, la agricultura local, el ajedrez, la actualidad política, la psicología y la lectura.

Graduated in English Studies by the University of Alcala and certified as a Spanish Teacher with ELE title, I have more than 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish. I have worked independently, in academies, in classrooms and also online. I was born in Argentina but came to Spain twenty years ago, therefore I know Spanish and South American culture to the same extent. I am also passionate about music and writing - I love exploring creative projects!

I've got more than 5 years of experience in language schools and online. I'm passionate about learning languages and culture through them.

I have studies in Hispanic literature and linguistics at UNAM. So, we can talk about many topics related to Latin America literature and culture or I can offer lessons with a linguistic approach: phonetics, grammar, lexicon, etc.

PRONUNCIATION LESSONS

Our vocal apparatus is one more muscle that we have to exercise for better results. In our pronunciation lessons we are going to make each part of your mouth working out. This way, you will sound more natural when speaking not only Spanish but other languages you intend to learn in the future. There's no matter if you are interested in a particular accent, I can help you anyways!

¡Hola! Me llamo Luis y soy de Cáceres, España. I live in Spain, close to Portugal, and I've also lived in Japan and Portugal. I am up to date with the newest learning theories, I use "Language Transfer" and "Comprehensible Input", so the materials are adapted to these methods, focusing on learning in context. ¡Hola! I’m Paul from Venezuela. I’ve been living in France since 2012, where I work as a fully qualified Spanish teacher at the university level, with up-to-date training. I have extensive experience preparing students for DELE, SIELE, Bright, and CLOE exams, as well as general Spanish practice. I specialize in helping students improve their Spanish pronunciation and grammar, assisting many in developing a more natural and fluid way of speaking.

I have worked for various universities and associations for over 10 years. I am in love with languages, I started studying English and French when I was 14 years old. my learning experience was mainly with private teachers in my hometown.

I lived one year in Germany where I taught Spanish to many friends.

My lessons are directed to students of all levels looking to develop their own speaking and writing style in Spanish. I believe that the creative drive is one of the most powerful accelerators of learning and in particular, language learning; so my classes involve acting exercises, fun writing prompts, vocal training akin to singers' training, and a variety of further creative work.

We will work on near perfect pronunciation through vocal practice that takes from singing practice, but focuses on diction. You'll become aware of how the muscles of your mouth and face create sound, and how using different resonance points throughout your face will get you to reproduce just the sound you were stuck with. Muscle memory, baby!

Fluency in articulating your own thoughts and essence in Spanish is achievable through writing prompts that do feel important for you. To write about a topic that actually matters to you, I'll provide you with beautiful vocabulary words, and we'll get through grammatical forms that may better encapsulate your ideas and feelings. I will help you make Spanish your own.

If you are wanting to absorb a particular part of Hispanic or Latino culture (e.g. Rosalía's composition, rap music, particular accents, reggeaton's lyrics), we will investigate and go through the elements at interest to get you to the point of creation. If you are a musician or a writer, I can help you use the rhythmic essence of Spanish in your own art. Hit me up!

Within every technique I use, I work with my knowledge of neural connection strengthening and weakening, all facilitated through repetition, reward, understanding and reprogramming of reflexes, investigation of previous outdated strategies, etc. Emotional management is key to success, and we'll work on that in your training just as much as in the linguistic side.

I have been teaching for about 10 years and learning languages for even longer, so I know what it's like to learn a new language. And exactly because of that, I'm a very patient and understanding teacher :)

Regarding our classes, everything will depend on your needs. However, I would like to tell you about two types of classes I offer that my students like a lot:

The first one is a class where you can ask me any question you want about Spanish. It can be about vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or even about our way of thinking. ;)

The second type of class is one in which I use my own teaching method, with which you can practice your writing, speaking, and listening comprehension skills, and also improve your pronunciation and grammar during every session.
