BONJOUR! My name is Charlotte and I’m looking forward to becoming your FRENCH TEACHER :-)

I’m 34 years old, was born in Geneva, Switzerland. I’m a native French and English speaker and I’m fluent in Spanish too.

I’ve been teaching French since 2018 and I’ve had students of all AGES, LEVELS and BACKGROUND. In your first class, we will discuss your GOALS and evaluate your LEVEL, so I can prepare a TAILOR-MADE program for you! I provide everything from articles, to grammar, vocabulary, exercises, etc. So all you have to worry about is to SHOW UP and PRACTICE!

I also like to focus on your CONVERSATION skills and help you improve your PRONUNCIATION, with my method you will be talking French in no time! I always come to class PREPARED and with a BIG SMILE !

I like making my lessons FUN using real life contexts, cultural aspects, visual aids and games. Most importantly I love to teach and see you improving your French!

I've been teaching online since 2016, having in the previous 15 years worked with young people, adults and foreigners of all levels. 

In my opinion, enthusiasm, patience, humour and understanding are the keys for efficient learning. I also like to have discussions, and give my students readings and writing exercises. 

If you have an intermediate level, we can speak about any topic that interests you. My interests include ecology and self sufficiency, architecture, history, geopolitics, philosophy, Asian food, horses, and nature.

Let's set your goal and start a work plan! There are many reasons to learn French, such as:

I can help with all of the above, and more.

It is always a pleasure to be able to have a fluent conversation (or a heated debate) with students who sometimes started as total beginners and to see them acing their exams.

As for the method, I use trusted manuals and activity books because I believe in structure, but also material that suits your interests and tastes - from literature to popular songs, news to scientific articles, series, and movies (subtitled or not), online resources and grammar exercises. Resources are shared on a Slack group where lessons are summarized, and tasks listed. I can also tailor-make lessons for a specific objective like a job interview or a power point presentation.

Teaching French has been my main activity for several years both privately and at the Alliance Française. I am outgoing and chatty, but homework is not optional (at least if you want to improve fast!).

My name is Diane, I am from the French-speaking part of Switzerland and I am living in Greece at the moment.

I have been a French teacher for people claiming asylum in Switzerland for more than two years now, therefore I have good material for beginners wanting to start learning French. I have taught to groups of adults from A0 to B1 levels with great results! 
Moreover, I have been a tutor on Languatalk for a year now and you can check below the reviews students left if you'd like to know what they think of my classes!

My methodology is quite flexible according to what my students prefer, though I like starting from daily-life situations (going grocery shopping, book an appointment at the doctor's, taking the train...) and elaborating on new vocabulary, grammar rules, verb tenses from that starting point. Reading some French simple texts, listening to French songs and/or playing games in French are also tools that I love using if you are interested in trying this out! I can also give homework if you want to work more on your own, and we can correct them together.

I love music and art in general, as well as reading so it would be my pleasure to introduce you to some of my favorite French-speaking artists!

In addition, I have been learning languages since a very young age and I am currently learning Greek, so I understand the challenges you might face regarding French! Be sure that my classes are a safe and benevolent environnement, designed to make you dare to speak and make mistakes; that's how you'll learn! ;)

Hello ! I'm French and live in Mâco, (region Bourgogne). I have around 7 years of experience teaching French to all ages and levels of students.

For me, each student is important and I sincerely want to help you achieve your goals: professional, academic , integration in France, etc.

About me

I graduated in French Literature, Philosophy and History (Université Paris 10), and I hold a M. Sc. in Global Change Management (HNE Eberswalde).

Before I moved to São Paulo, Brazil, I lived five years in Berlin where I started to teach. There I tutored privately and also gave literacy classes in German for young refugees. From May 2017 to September 2017, I did training to be a French teacher and I taught French at the Technical University of Berlin for three semesters.

At the moment, I work with several language schools in São Paulo (IFESP, Versátil Idiomas, and the French Alliance). I have experience with teaching to all levels and ages. I also have experience in creating didactic material. 

In parallel to my teaching activities, I also have a solid experience with translation work (English, German, Portuguese > French).

Hello, my name is Marvin, I am French but I live in Galicia, west of Spain. I have been an online teacher for three years now during which I have given more than 1600 lessons. Also, I am currently finishing my master's degree in didactics to teach French. And before that, I graduated from the Alliance Française to be certified as a professional teacher.

During my lessons, I know how to be flexible to adapt to your needs and your personality. If you want conversation classes, we can discuss freely or prepare the session through an article or any other authentic document and I will bring you the necessary corrections over the course of the exchange. If you are looking to improve a particular language point, my goal will be to expose you to it and help you determine how it works. In addition, thanks to my knowledge of the different levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, I can adapt my level of French as well as the topics worked on to each person. My students highlight that I am very patient and also reactive and precise in answering their various questions.

I myself have experience in language learning. I speak English and Spanish at an advanced level, I have some notions of German and Japanese and I am currently learning Galician. Of course, I always adapt my method to your individual situation

About me : I was born in Switzerland. My mother tongue is French, which I always speak with my relatives and my friends. I also speak Italian as I grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland (Ticino) and I still live there

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone.
