I correct mistakes using the "silent method," which means you can speak freely without interruptions. At the end of each session, I’ll provide feedback and actionable tips to help you improve with each conversation. A little about me. I’m a native French speaker from Northern France, though my friends like to call me a “woman with a suitcase” because of my love for travel and exploring new places. My journey to teaching wasn’t a traditional one, but I’ve been passionately teaching French for three years now. What inspires me most is seeing my students achieve their goals and grow more confident in their language skills. 

I’m always thinking about new ways to help French learners succeed. Recently, I’ve introduced the idea of French immersion stays, offering a unique opportunity for students to practice the language in a fully immersive environment while experiencing authentic French culture. 

As someone currently learning two other languages myself, I know the joys and challenges of mastering a new language. This shared experience motivates me to create lessons that are practical, engaging, and focused on real progress. 

I figured out that learning is much more efficient and enjoyable when it is grounded in reality !

This is why I make my lessons student-centered : around your specific needs, goals and centres of interest. I call my method « chameleon-like »

Whether it is for receptive skills, that is listening and reading, or productive skills, that is writing and speaking, we use mostly real-life materials, role-plays and games around situations you may or will find yourself into.

It makes it much more stimulating, efficient and useful to you ! You also learn aspects of French culture as we go along.

IMPORTANT : durant le cours, je corrige à l'oral tes erreurs et je t'envoie les corrections dans un document écrit après chaque cours. Je peux aussi te donner des devoirs si tu le souhaites.

I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests. 

Languatalk is perfect to learn a language in a very efficient, funny and motivating way. My teaching method is based on oral communication and pronunciation, which doesn’t mean that you won’t learn and practice grammar and structures which are necessary to express oneself properly. Through the material provided such as books, newspapers, videos, you will also be improving your reading and listening skills. We can also work your writing if you need or want to.

A few years ago, when I was in bed at night and almost ready to sleep, I used to ask myself this question : "Why would people want to learn French? Are they crazy?"

Well... Are you? 

It definitely takes guts for someone to take the obscure path of French learning, especially when you know that almost no francophone can speak French perfectly. And it is this courageous desire detected in French learners that made me want to start teaching this language three years ago. In fact, besides the syntactic complexity of this language (which, by the way, is most likely to be a cliché), French is a very poetic language, as it allows countless accesses to figurative speeches (so if you tend to be a little sarcastic at times, this might be perfect for you). Plus, French is cool and sounds fancy too, so... 😗
