Hi! 😊 My name is Tatiana, I'm Brazilian and I love being in touch with people from different cultures, as well as sharing knowledge with those who want to learn my native language and learn about the culture of my country.

I adopt a communicative approach with the students, focusing on conversation and learning grammar as a natural consequence of our interaction. This means that you will learn Portuguese in a fluid, calm and efficient way, assimilating grammar gradually, as you need it.

With a degree in Languages and Literature, a postgraduate certificate in Portuguese Language and a master's degree in Literature, I have taught Portuguese to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. I also have extensive experience in producing teaching materials for Brazilian publishers.  

My goal here on the platform is to strengthen students' autonomy through active language learning, providing a trusting, dynamic and fun environment, with lots of dialogue and the use of a variety of resources (texts, audios, videos etc.), suited to your goals, needs and learning pace.

Hi, I'm Catarina and I am a native Portuguese speaker who loves to teach and learn. I like to adapt the lessons to my students and have been teaching all levels, from beginner to advanced.  I have a Pedagogical Skills Certificate which allows me to give training here in Portugal and have a passion for sharing some knowledge of my language and also learning from people with different nationalities and backgrounds.

Even though my teaching method is guided by textbooks, I'm not a rigid teacher who teaches the kind of boring grammar you learned in school. I talk to my students in a friendly way and adapt the content to what you really need and want.

Initially, I will observe your progress calmly to learn what your strengths and weaknesses are. After that, we will advance at your pace, with homework that doesn't overwhelm you.

Yes, I use the language we have in common to help me explain more difficult topics. But don't think of this as something that will delay your learning, because we'll have conversation time from the very first lesson! So you can bring up topics for chitchat whenever you want. I myself like to talk about: history, shows, movies, music, books, and things that happen in everyday life.

My name is Micaela, I'm 30 years old and I'm from the Azores, Portugal :)  I am here to make you have a good time while learning Portuguese.

All materials are provided for free, like books, PDFs, exercises etc. I like to immerse my students in the Portuguese culture as much as possible, using music, sending articles for homework etc.

If you have a kid or more, don't worry anymore. I love to work with children as well, and I have the experience and the material for a great kid-friendly lesson.
