Здравствуйте! Приятно познакомиться!
Hello and nice to meet you!
I'm Tatiana, a native Russian, proficient English and advanced French speaker and a professional tutor of languages, certified in Russia (diplomas from Krasnodar and Moscow universities) and internationally (Delta module 1 and TKT).
You are welcome to my classes if you:
A few words about me. I was born and brought up in Krasnodar, Russia. Remember Sochi 2014 Olympics? That’s Krasnodar region, right.
I fell in love with languages since childhood and decided to become a teacher while still in my first year at primary school. I first started tutoring when I was 15, for the neighbors’ daughter who needed help with her English homework.
That determined the choice of my major at university. I graduated as a philologist and a teacher of English and French and went on to take CAE and CPE and later teaching qualification exams (TKT and DELTA) from Cambridge. I finally officially qualified as a tutor of Russian this year, 2022.
I have been teaching 1-to-1 classes offline since 1998 and online since 2017. Despite my qualifications, I’m first of all a practitioner and I build my teaching around your needs and goals.
I’m a terrible dancer, but a lesson for me is a tango round, where you lead the way to where you want to come and I follow you, making the way bright and enjoyable.
Teaching languages is my lifelong passion and I’ll be delighted to share it with you!
See you in my classes!
До встречи на моих уроках!

ABOUT ME:
✅My name is Natalia and I am a certified teacher of Russian. I have developed and successfully put into practice a unique methodology for teaching the Russian language (based on a combination of sports training methods and linguistic principles), which more than 150 students have successfully passed through.
✅I'm a teacher in the 3-d generation;
✅I have more than 20 years of experience (in addition to languages, I taught ballet and fitness, conducted training sessions for trainers);
✅Originally from St. Petersburg (Russia), but have been living in Spain (Majorca) for 12 years;
✅In the past - a ballerina, fitness coach, and even an animator in hotels;
💕I love: travel, sea, sun, positive people, animals, good wine and delicious food, theatre, ballet, art, sports.
My motto is “Do it with passion or not at all!”
ME AS A TEACHER:
For me, the most important thing is that you enjoy the learning process and enjoy it every time!
▶️With a lot of patience, my first priority is to create a positive and friendly atmosphere in the classroom, as well as to keep you motivated. But at the same time, I am always focused on your results, correcting your mistakes and practicing the material until you automatically use it in your speech. I also have a degree in sports psychology, which allows me to create my own teaching system based on a combination of sports training and linguistic teaching principles.
❤️My classes are very emotional and positive, and so am I!
MY LESSONS&TEACHING STYLE:
👩🎓In my methodology for teaching Russian, I combine the methods of sports psychology, aimed at achieving high results and motivation, with the main principles of teaching foreign languages:
✅The principle “From knowledge to skill” - each new knowledge that a student receives goes through several stages of my training to translate it into a stable skill and the ability to use new constructions automatically in speech;
✅“Helix principle” - new material, like beads, is strung on previously studied, allowing students to master new speech tools and not forget what they have learned before.
✅“Principle of uniqueness” - I am absolutely sure that each person is unique and talented, and revealing your uniqueness in the learning process is also part of my methodology.
✅The motto is “Learn languages the way an athlete prepares for the Olympics!

Hey there! My name is Mariam, and I am an English and Russian tutor with over 8 years of experience helping students achieve their language goals in Thailand, Hungary, and online. I believe the most important thing in teaching a language is to ensure the student feels comfortable enough to start speaking. When learning a language, the hardest part is overcoming the shyness of speaking because, in my opinion, the more you talk, the more you improve. ;)
I look forward to meeting my students, as I love interacting with people from different countries and backgrounds. I enjoy having relaxed conversations, traveling, cinema, art, and many other topics that we can discuss together—whether in Russian or English—depending on which language you choose to study!

We’re confident you’ll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutors’ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the 'Help' button in the bottom-right. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
1-on-1 lessons are perhaps the best way to improve speaking skills, and because of this many students use LanguaTalk to learn to speak Russian fluently. That said, some people have other, more specific goals. Let your tutor know what your goals are and they'll tailor the lessons to your personal needs. Most tutors can help with any of the following:
Most of the Russian tutors on our site are able to teach students of all levels. When you click on a tutor's profile you'll see if certain levels are not supported. For example, certain tutors cannot teach complete beginners.
Whilst the majority of tutors offer Zoom Russian classes for adults, you’ll see on profiles that only some of them are suitable for kids and teenagers. If your son/daughter wants to take lessons to support their school/college studies, you can optionally provide the tutor with the materials or topics covered. Please note that as per our Terms & Conditions, students who are under 18 must get permission from a legal guardian before booking.
New to LanguaTalk? You'll have one credit for a free trial. Most tutors offer a trial for free. If they do not, they’ll offer a trial session at a discount compared to their usual hourly rate.
Trial sessions are 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in Russian as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too! Book a trial today to see if taking Russian lessons on Zoom works well for you.
After your session, if you feel that the tutor isn’t quite right for you, you can simply book a trial with someone else.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutor’s full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, you’ll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experience, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
The vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, you’ll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the ‘Buy Lessons’ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if they’re for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. To see tutors who are likely to fit your weekly schedule, use the availability filter at the top. Then when you see a tutor you like, check their profile calendar to make sure their time slots work for you. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have lots of students.
We want students to have an exceptional learning experience on LanguaTalk, so we only accept the very best tutor applications. Though we consider qualifications and experience, we place equal value on communication skills, personality and reviews from previous students. Almost all of the tutors are native speakers of the language they teach, and they can speak English too.
Each tutor is unique - they have different backgrounds, strengths, teaching methods and personalities. So we suggest you browse several profiles to find the right tutor for you.
Our booking system is designed to be easy to use. You can see tutors' available slots in your local time zone. If you choose to book lessons with a tutor, you'll be able to buy them one at a time, or purchase in bulk with a volume discount. You can pay securely by card on our website.
You can manually add bookings to your personal calendar, or if you use Google calendar, you can add bookings automatically with our syncing feature. You'll also be able to receive email reminders to help ensure you don't forget to turn up.
You can reschedule or cancel lessons in a couple of clicks. Please note that this can be done up to 24 hours before the lesson time. We have this policy to be fair to tutors, who cannot replace lessons at the last minute and need some form of income protection.
Russian lessons via Zoom tend to be cheaper than face-to-face because the tutor doesn't need to travel. Online Russian tutors may cost between $7 to $30 per hour, but be aware that very cheap tutors on certain websites may lack experience. On LanguaTalk, Russian tutors typically charge between $10 and $25 per hour.
Of course, receiving Russian tutoring via Zoom or Skype is not the cheapest way to learn; you could learn via a free app instead. But if you're serious about learning, nothing beats 1-on-1 Russian lessons with a great teacher.
Students sometimes feel unsure about learning online because they think it won't be as effective as learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a strong relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen Russian tutor on Zoom, you’ll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. They’ll usually also share learning resources with you (using Google Docs, YouTube etc.) and you’ll be able to collaborate in real-time.
There is no 'best way' to learn a language - it depends on many factors, such as your needs, level and budget. If you can't afford to take 1-on-1 Russian lessons on Zoom, you can use a free app like Duolingo to build your vocab. And to improve your listening skills, you can try watching TV and listening to podcasts in Russian. But to learn how to actually speak a language, you need to talk to a native speaker on a regular basis and receive accurate feedback so that you improve. If you want to make fast progress, it's best to take private lessons that are tailored to your personal needs by an experienced teacher.
