Hello everyone! I do not teach A1 A2 levels. I am Itziar and I am a Spanish teacher. I am currently living in Spain but I lived in different countries in the past. I am a native speaker with a neutral Spanish accent. My pronunciation is clear and easy to understand. I love teaching Spanish to international students and I am happy to see them making progress  learning the language. I have four years of experience teaching Spanish to students from all over the world.

My teaching style:

Patient: I personally experienced the struggles of learning a new language. I learnt different languages from the scratch, so I will encourage you during the lesson.

I am qualified Spanish teacher from Málaga (Spain). I lived and taught in London for over 14 years before moving back to Málaga in 2019. I gained my Certificate for Spanish Teaching to Adults in 2011 from International House School of Languages, and I also have a Cambridge CELTA (for English teaching) from the same school, completed in 2020. 

I have taught Spanish to business professionals, at University, to GCSE, A Level and DELE students, and to learners who just take lessons for travelling or self-improvement. My previous and current students all come from multiple backgrounds, nationalities, abilities and levels of Spanish, from total beginner to advanced.

In my classes you will start communicating by simple dialogues (simple if you're a beginner) from the first lesson. I will focus on improving your pronunciation (something often overlooked by teachers); teaching you the grammar gradually, so you don't feel overwhelmed; enriching your vocabulary prioritizing your needs and personal interests; and improving your fluency. My students often praise my patience, my well-planned lessons and the fact that they feel relaxed to learn in class. I welcome mistakes (and correct them of course!) as a sure sign that learning is happening. You do learn a lot from your mistakes. 

As a lifelong lover of the arts and a practicing artist, I like to give my classes a cultural flavour, sharing relevant information about music, films, books and art.

¡Hola! My name is María and I'm from Mexico. 

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a blended methodology that incorporates grammar and communication activities in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have hand picked or created all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like audios, videos and games to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I'd be happy to work on a plan that fits your needs. You don't need any previous experience learning Spanish or a foreign language. Since I am also a doctoral student I only have a limited number of hours. My name is Samuel and I live in Madrid. In 2013 I got my Spanish teacher Certificate and since then I have been teaching Spanish in many language schools -in person and the last two years mainly online due to the pandemic. I have also taught group classes and individual one to one classes in companies. I have also helped many students to pass DELE exams.

I have a Philosophy Degree as well from Universidad Complutense. Madrid. I also really love to talk about a wide range of topics. I enjoy listening and learning from my students. Everyone has interesting things to say. With me,  you will be talking about things you like without noticing you are doing it in Spanish.

I can share with you many books, videos, infographics, newspaper articles etc in pdf format so that we have always fresh and juicy material to discuss. These last ones are a fantastic complement because sometimes the standard books for learning might be designed –what is fine- for generic purposes. Pdf files are included in the price.

I have taught students from every corner of the world and from  very different  backgrounds. I love learning from my students while I am teaching them.

I speak very fluent English so even if your knowledge of Spanish is 0 don’t be afraid. You will always be comfortable in my classes. I am also learning French so I haven’t forgotten how does it feel to be a beginner ;)

¡Hola! I’m Paul from Venezuela. I’ve been living in France since 2012, where I work as a fully qualified Spanish teacher at the university level, with up-to-date training. I have extensive experience preparing students for DELE, SIELE, Bright, and CLOE exams, as well as general Spanish practice. I specialize in helping students improve their Spanish pronunciation and grammar, assisting many in developing a more natural and fluid way of speaking.

I have worked for various universities and associations for over 10 years. I use ELE Actual Spanish books as a guide, but it is not necessary for students to buy them as all materials are included in the price of my lessons.
