Graduated in English Studies by the University of Alcala and certified as a Spanish Teacher with ELE title, I have more than 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish. I have worked independently, in academies, in classrooms and also online. I was born in Argentina but came to Spain twenty years ago, therefore I know Spanish and South American culture to the same extent. I am also passionate about music and writing - I love exploring creative projects! 

As a teacher, I use a communicative method that aims to learn a second language through real-life examples to be able to communicate in everyday situations. My classes are fun and effective. My teaching style is different from the traditional approach we have had in schools since childhood.

I use what is called "Inductive Method". First, we will get into context to the topic through a video, an image, a reading, etc. Then we will learn the grammar or vocabulary concept to be introduced that day, and then we will do a good practice to internalize it.

Hello, I'm Ruth, and I am from Peru. I live in Cusco, the city of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located. I'd love to be your future Spanish tutor!  Likewise, I've been teaching for a while, working with a diverse range of students. The second type of class is one in which I use my own teaching method, with which you can practice your writing, speaking, and listening comprehension skills, and also improve your pronunciation and grammar during every session.

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a blended methodology that incorporates grammar and communication activities in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have hand picked or created all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like audios, videos and games to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I'd be happy to work on a plan that fits your needs. You don't need any previous experience learning Spanish or a foreign language. Since I am also a doctoral student I only have a limited number of hours.
