Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. That is why I aim to provide you with a supportive, engaging and thought-provoking environment in which your oral production will take the lead role. I consider myself to be a very patience, disciplined, kind and creative person.

I am passionate about history, pastries, literature, linguistics, animals ( 100% dog lover! 🐕) and, of course, languages. So if you are interested in any of those topics we’ll make a good match :]

And if you don’t, that’s ok! I find very nourishing learning about topics outside my comfort zone.

I speak Spanish since i am a native speaker from Peru, with a neutral accent. I do speak English fluently, German and a bit of Japanese also.

✨ Methodology

I use a methodology based on research and methods proven by psychologists and teachers. My classes are ALWAYS prepared and structured to meet your needs. The methodologies i use are:

1️⃣ TPRS  (Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling) and comprehensible input -> For learning grammar and vocabulary in a engaging, stress-free way!

2️⃣ Breaking down your favorite songs, stories and articles -> To practice reading, vocab and pronunciation!

3️⃣ Direct method (speaking only in Spanish for intermediate or advanced students) -> To strengthen your speaking and listening abilities

ALSO, i always explain grammar step by step and provide flashcards to remember vocabulary (based on the science proved method “Spaced repetition”).

I provide each of my students a personalized plan and homework based on their goals, needs and way of learning.

My name is Melina and I am from Peru. I studied foreign languages at the National University of Cajamarca in the north of Peru and I got a degree in Education – Foreign languages. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2) very well.

I will help you to learn Spanish for you to achieve your specific goals taking into account your needs, your level and your learning process. Our lessons will include videos, everyday Spanish conversations, slides and more. We will also have cultural activities such as gastronomy, music and tourism. The four skills to learn a foreign language will be included as well: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and you will also have the grammar so that you can understand the language and produce it.

I have worked with people from different ages and levels and I have helped some of them to pass international exams.  Over the last 20 years I have taught English and Spanish and I always try to do my best for my students to enjoy the lessons, have fun and above all to learn.

Hello, I'm Ruth, and I am from Peru. I live in Cusco, the city of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located. Hello, my name is Diana. I am a graduated university language teacher and ELE - certified. I've got more than 7 years teaching languages. I taught Spanish for children and teenagers in the USA for 2 years. I've got a lot experience teaching English and Spanish online. I was a Spanish teacher volunteer in Peru during my university studies, but more than the degree I am enthusiastic, responsible and empathetic person. I teach  with my heart and soul, my students receive the necessary attention and motivation in order to achieve meaningful learning.  I love teaching Spanish and getting to know students from all over the world.
