I specialize in the exam preparation for the Goethe Zertifikat or equivalent and have considerable experience with professionals, embassy staff and medical students. My method is simple: I make it real, I make it relevant and most of all, I make it fun!

I was born and raised in Germany so I'm a native German speaker. Currently I'm living in France and work here as a teacher for German as a second and foreign language. 

For more than seven years I have been teaching German now in Germany and in France and with a lot of passion and joy for all levels and ages. It's a big pleasure for me to get to know so many cultures and people by teaching. Because of my stay in France, I speak French and of course also English.

In my classes I set the focus on you as an individual learner. So I prepare every lesson individually based on your personal needs. We will do various types of grammar exercises, reading comprehensions and of course we'll also talk a lot. I'm also having a lot of experience in successfully preparing students for German certificates (Goethe, telc) in all levels. Understanding and mastering are two completely different things. Therefore, it is not my goal to explain a lot, but to make you USE grammar structures and new words in a systematic way.

We can discuss travel, politics, the cities we live in, art, culture, the news, your job, your dreams and goals - anything :) I will adjust to your level (B1 and up) so that you don't feel overwhelmed. Language learning should be fun! 

Corrections and suggestions will be provided in the chat box. (this is not a grammar class though so explanations will be kept brief to focus on the conversation and improving fluency.

Given my background as a Communications Director at a global company I'm also happy to include business topics if that's of interest to you. 

My classes are NOT for beginners. As it is a conversation class, you must be able to hold at least a basic conversation (A2 level or higher)

I started my work at a French High School. My main task there was to prepare the advanced learners for their oral exams. Later I continued at a French Engineering University teaching the students to apply their German skills to specific topics linked to their studies and future jobs. I also helped them in the preparations of their year abroad in a German speaking country. After this experience I switched to instructing beginners at a French Middle School and started my work online with beginners as well as advanced learners. 

My offer includes lots of exercises that will enable you to express yourself spontaneously and quickly break the barrier to speak. In addition to the sessions with me you will get tasks that you can easily complete and repeat throughout your everyday life. Together we will create a stimulating learning environment that makes it easy for you to pick up new vocabulary and grammar structures without having to know all the different rules that a native speaker does not even know ;)

Hi, I'm Your new German teacher. Born and raised in Switzerland but now living in Peru. I'm an artist, graphic designer and much more. I speak fluent English, Spanish and good French. I love to teach online because it allows me both to get to know new people from all over the world but also to take good care of my family. Hi! I am Larissa, I am originally from Frankfurt, Germany. Since 2019, I've been teaching German as a foreign language via video chat and in face-to-face sessions. My students come from all over the world, from various age groups and have different skill levels. I have taught all levels at our national university language lab and privately. Also, I prepare for international examinations: *Goethe A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2, *TELC, *DSH, *Occupation Medicine B2-C1, *Workplace/occupation A2-B1, *Children A1-A2.
