My name is Esther and I am a Spanish teacher from Spain. I have lived in Japan for two years and in South Korea for 6 years, so I have a wide multicultural experience. I speak English, Korean and a bit of Japanese. I love languages and cultures inspire me. I want to work in helping people all around the world understanding each other.

Regarding my studies, I am a Spanish philology graduated, DELE accredited examiner from level A1 to level C2 by Instituto Cervantes and I have a master’s degree in Spanish Teaching as a Foreigner Language. I have been teaching in person and online for more than 10 years in language exchange events, schools, as a tutor and as a DELE instructor.

As a Spanish teacher, I am very patient and give you time to express by yourself. I don’t only focus on the correction of the grammar or pronunciation, but also give a lot of importance to the ability to communicate ideas and navigate through specific cultural situations.

I have many hours of teaching experience, as from 2016 to 2019 I worked in a Spanish academy in my home city, Medellín, where I worked 40 hours per week teaching Spanish as a foreign language; I had 1-to-1 sessions and also groups of up to 6 students; the classes were amazing and I loved the experience since I could meet people from a range of cultures, thanks to that I realised that there are extraordinary people from every corner of the world.

Since 2019 I have been working as an online Spanish teacher. I am studying a master's degree in London, where in the evenings I teach Spanish to adults.

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a blended methodology that incorporates grammar and communication activities in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have hand picked or created all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like audios, videos and games to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I'd be happy to work on a plan that fits your needs. You don't need any previous experience learning Spanish or a foreign language. Since I am also a doctoral student I only have a limited number of hours. My name is Luz I am from Mexico I have been teaching Spanish for 10 years and 5 year of online teaching. If you are looking to improve your Spanish as a hobby or for work I can help you. I speak english, french and italian. I like to teach Spanish as a language and also as a cultural experience to understand the context of the language. If you want to communicate in Spanish I have experience teaching Spanish to kids as well as adults in beginner and upper levels. Also during the lesson I include conversation about interesting topics about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. The resources I use during the lessons are websites, brochures, newspaper articles, and others.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have also completed a CELTA course for English teachers. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 13 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also a 13 year-experienced translator. I have recently worked on a project which involved developping Spanish lessons and units to be delivered online, so I am used to creating content of my own.

My teaching method is mostly conversational and based on a combination of skills. I use plenty of audiovisuals and various activities to get students to speak. My constant interest in professional training has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning.

My lessons are all similarly structured: a grammar point, a few exercises to get started, then controlled practice, and finally an audio or a video related to the topic.

After learning 7+ languages for the past decade, I found out that traditional classes or methods just don't work. 

In fact (I was surprised myself too), eventually I realized there's a faster way to learn and that is... by avoiding grammar, exams and by not studying like the other 99% of people.

I taught Spanish for children and teenagers in the USA for 2 years. I've got a lot experience teaching English and Spanish online.
