Hello, my name is Nicoletta and I am a certified native English tutor from the small island of Cyprus. However, both my parents have British roots and I have grown up speaking English as my primary language. As a person who has always been interested in other countries and cultures, I have embarked on learning new languages myself in the last few years. Most recently Korean! I completed my TEFL in Asia and have over 8 years teaching experience with kids and adults from a combination of working in schools and online. My students tell me I have a clear and neutral accent that is easy to understand. They often comment on my relaxed and fun energy in my lessons. 

When working with children I create vibrant and interactive lessons that include phonics, writing & reading. After each class a worksheet or activity can be given. When working with adults I also like to create fun lessons. Learning grammar is stressful and I like to focus more on conversation and simplified explanations. We learn about phrasal verbs, idioms and lots of other things a new learner should need to be able to understand and speak like a native. 

As a teacher I believe it is important to make the students feel comfortable and give them a safe space to learn and not to be afraid to make mistakes. Learning a new language is not easy it takes time and dedication, I understand this and try to build the students confidence as much as possible.

Hi there! I'm teacher Dio and I have been a teacher for over a decade. I love what I do - I am passionate about languages. I speak 3 languages (Portuguese, Spanish and of course, English).
