French classes in Berlin: Try a class for free

I was a school teacher in France for 4 years, before moving to Argentina where I taught French for one year. 

Back in France, I have been giving French lessons online for more than two years now.

My method:

- Discuss well at the outset to determine your level, your goals, your interests, what you expect from online courses, in order to prepare a 100% personalized course.

- I rely on different methods for beginners, which I adapt to each student according to their progress. For people who have a more advanced level I like to rely on texts or videos for discussion. If the students wish, I can provide grammar/vocabulary exercises to be done outside the class, in order to devote the time of the lesson to conversation/oral practice. 

- I am listening to you after the course in order to evolve our way of working so that the methodology sticks as much as possible to what you need. 

- I send a summary of the notions studied during the course by e-mail (so no need to take notes during the lesson), for those who wish I can send "homework” to prepare the next course. 

My interests: travel, literature, languages (I am currently learning Spanish and Russian, so I am myself in the position of the learner and I know that it is not always easy!).

I’m 34 years old, was born in Geneva, Switzerland. I’m a native French and English speaker and I’m fluent in Spanish too.

In your first class, we will discuss your GOALS and evaluate your LEVEL, so I can prepare a TAILOR-MADE program for you! I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests.

My name is Oana Maria and I am a professional language teacher and a Linguist graduated at the University of Bordeaux , France. I am currently living in North Norway. I came here to take a second master on Sami language and culture, and recently I have been working in an alternative school with kids. 

I am an eternal language learner and a nomad at heart. I love getting to know new places, living in different countries and cultures and never stop learning. My name is Diane, I am from the French-speaking part of Switzerland and I am living in Greece at the moment.

I have been a French teacher for people claiming asylum in Switzerland for more than two years now, therefore I have good material for beginners wanting to start learning French. I have taught to groups of adults from A0 to B1 levels with great results! 
Moreover, I have been a tutor on Languatalk for a year now and you can check below the reviews students left if you'd like to know what they think of my classes!

My methodology is quite flexible according to what my students prefer, though I like starting from daily-life situations (going grocery shopping, book an appointment at the doctor's, taking the train...) and elaborating on new vocabulary, grammar rules, verb tenses from that starting point. Reading some French simple texts, listening to French songs and/or playing games in French are also tools that I love using if you are interested in trying this out! I can also give homework if you want to work more on your own, and we can correct them together.

I love music and art in general, as well as reading so it would be my pleasure to introduce you to some of my favorite French-speaking artists!

In addition, I have been learning languages since a very young age and I am currently learning Greek, so I understand the challenges you might face regarding French! About me?

 Initially I finished my baccalaureate in Literature (2001) but since then life brought me a bit everywhere. I volunteered for various populations (4 years), and graduated in BSSW (2019). Swiss, I call myself a wanderer because my heart got colored with all the beautiful cultures I have encountered on my exotic journey in Europe, Kenya, and Philippines. 

Since 2020, I have been blessed with wonderful students from all around the world: more than 150 students from +30 different nationalities. I love my work and the people I meet on the way!

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone.  I come from Nancy in the north-east of France. I lived one year in Spain and  I am living now in Dublin. 

 I studied Performing Art and film studies in France, Spain and in Ireland. I am passionate about travelling, discovering new cultures and art. I recently completed a diploma to teach French to foreigners (DAEFLE- Alliance Française de Paris). I am also an examiner and corrector for the DELF-DALF exam.

I started teaching French part-time 6 years ago when I moved to Dublin. I used to help Irish teenagers to prepare their French exams (Leaving Cert - Junior Cert) and students at the University (preparing oral exams, proof-reading essays).  I have been teaching French online since April 2020 and in person to adults and kids in some languages school since February 2021. 

I teach French to all levels (beginners to advanced) and all ages (kids, teenagers, adults). I can help you to improve your French skills (grammar, vocabulary, French culture, oral fluency) , to prepare your essays, oral presentation, job interview, Delf-Dalf exams  … With  children I usually use a power point to learn basics vocabulary and sentences, and make French games with them. 

I am flexible to your needs, level and way of learning. I use videos and articles based on your interests and encourage practising conversation. I also often relate the lessons to French culture as film, music, news , literature ... I can provide grammar lessons and exercises.
