Finding German classes in Eindhoven that are both effective and affordable can be tricky. Classes are typically in groups, meaning you have limited opportunities to speak. On top of this, you’ll often find certain students dominate the conversation, or ask the teacher endless questions!
LanguaTalk offers a more convenient and effective alternative: 1-on-1 online German classes with experienced native tutors. You won’t find these tutors available for face-to-face German lessons in Eindhoven. LanguaTalk finds the best tutors from around the world. They offer conversational German classes at cheaper rates because they don’t have to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living.
Probably you’re thinking: but are online classes really as effective as face-to-face? You can book a no obligation 30-minute trial session (for free with most tutors) and see for yourself. Classes take place via video call, allowing you to communicate with your tutor and share learning materials, as if you were in the same room. And you can book classes for whenever it suits you.
Below, you can filter to tutors who have availability that fits with your Eindhoven time zone. Then watch videos, check reviews, and book a trial session.
If you have questions, you can click the 'Help' button in the bottom right. There, you’ll find answers to every question imaginable, and the option of contacting our support team.

Are you looking for flexible lessons that are tailored to your needs and are interactive and fun?
➡️I offer individualized lessons and have experience with and specialize in:
â—‡Beginner lessons A1-B1
â—‡pronunciation
â—‡ working with "story learning"
My name is Nina, I grew up in Berlin, Germany, but I´ve lived in the most northern German federal state for ten years now.
For me it is very important to create a pleasant atmosphere and to teach German with fun! Since i am a foreign language learner myself, i can also give you some tips on language learning, e.g. how to remember the articles? Or how do I remember the accusative/dative? I know some creative techniques :)
I´ve studied Linguistics and German/German as a foreign language and I have 7 years of teaching experience (mostly beginner level). I´ve been teaching German for a few years at a school (A1-B1) and at a University of Applied Science (Fachhochschule- Studienkolleg, B2-C1) and I teach German online since July 2022 and focus on the BEGINNER-levels up to B1. As you can see in my video, I can speak slowly and clearly for beginners. Due to my linguistic studies I can also help you with pronunciation and have many tips and exercises to help you improve your pronunciation.
I am well organized and have a lot of material at my disposal, also for self-learning if desired. In addition, I supplement the lessons with exercises in which you are active. I also use videos/songs and games in my lessons. We will set your goals at the beginning and we will work at your pace. In my lessons, you will learn to communicate in everyday situations. Of course you will also learn to read, write & understand German.
A little bit about myself: I´m very interested in languages, at the moment I`m learning Arabic, so I know what it is like to learn a new language. In my free-time, I like to be outdoors (ride my bike, hiking) but also inside (pet my cat Milou or be creative- painting/urban sketching, upcycling,...)
I love the German language and helping people to learn my mother tongue,
Looking forward to meeting you!
Nina

I am a German native speaker from Austria who loves languages and am passionate about teaching others. I work as language teacher in a school, teach adults at the German Culture Center and prepare my students for all types of official language exams. I love my job and always seek to make it as much fun as possible.
I am adapting my way of teaching to the needs and the personality of my students. We can build up your vocabulary and speaking capacities, work on your written expression or on your general understanding. You want a conversation class to practice the language or build up your knowledge in Grammar? Or perhaps you have a language exam to pass. Or is it perhaps your child that wants to learn a language while playing? You want to improve your German while learning more about the German speaking countries? You need someone who is motivating you to keep up our learning journey?
I have experience in teaching people from very different cultural background, different ages and different levels. I would love to get to know you during our trial lesson, so that we can come up with a tailored plan for you.

Do you want to learn how to communicate in German acccurately and with confidence, but without a lot of boring grammar exercises?
Or do you just want to talk, but constantly feel stressed when having a free conversation?
Or do you already speak German well and wonder how you can improve further?
Then I’m here to guide you on your way to success!
“I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.” (Confucius)
Understanding and mastering are two completely different things. Therefore, it is not my goal to explain a lot, but to make you USE grammar structures and new words in a systematic way.
What to expect
I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Depending on your level in German, we come up with topics to talk about in order to practice your conversation skills: travel, politics, the cities we live in, art, culture, the news, your job, your dreams and goals - anything :) It doesn't matter if you're fluent or not, I will adjust to your level (B1 and up) so that you don't feel overwhelmed. Language learning should be fun!Â
Corrections and suggestions will be provided in the chat box. (this is not a grammar class though so explanations will be kept brief to focus on the conversation and improving fluency.
Given my background as a Communications Director at a global company I'm also happy to include business topics if that's of interest to you. (as well Mock Interview Sessions are possible)
My classes are NOT for beginners. As it is a conversation class, you must be able to hold at least a basic conversation (B1 level or higher)
I look forward to talking with you! :)

I am happy you decided to learn German.
With me as your tutor, you will get the support and motivation you need to reach your goals and make the progress you are looking for. My classes are not only educational but fun. I firmly believe that language learning should be motivating to ensure students’ success.
Since earning my Master’s in Teaching German as a Foreign Language, I have been teaching my native language at universities and language schools in Germany and abroad for fifteen years.
My teaching approach is communicative, intercultural and learner-centered. Over the years I have developed my own material which I supplement with current course books, online material and authentic sources like German songs, TV programs/films and literature.
No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced learner, no matter what area you’d like to focus on, be it general German, business German or exam preparation, I am going to tailor the lessons to your individual needs in order to ensure the best possible outcome.
As a polyglot myself, I am familiar with the challenges of learning a new language and I can give you helpful tips along the way.
All you need to bring is the necessary motivation and dedication, and we’re ready to go.
Lass uns Deutsch lernen! (Let’s learn German!)
I hope to see you soon in a trial session.

Would you like to learn German with personalized lessons according to your needs and interests? Then I'm the right teacher for you! Â In my German lessons you will not only learn the correct pronunciation and grammar but also a lot of useful facts and details about the German culture and way of living. This will help you if you are already living in a German-speaking country or plan to move there. I can also help you with exam preparation, such as Goethe-Test, Telc, or TestDaF.
In our German lessons you will find a safe space to practice speaking, make mistakes, get feedback, and little by little get more confident. Together we will create a tailored program designed to practice the specific situations where you will need to use German. We will use role plays, audios, videos, and a lot of different materials in order to improve your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. Every student has a different learning pace and different needs and interests. In the trial lesson I will find out what your goals are and with that information I will be able to adapt my German lessons so that you will learn German and enjoy doing it!Â
Since I have a Zoom Business account, you won't need to reconnect to the meeting during our  lessons (55 minutes).
Some facts about me: I was born in Spain and raised in Germany, so Spanish and German are my native languages, but I also speak English (C1 level), French (B2 level), and a little bit of Portuguese. Over the last 30 years I have taught languages (English, German, and Spanish) to children and adults of all ages and levels. I've helped several students to pass different language exams.
I love languages and that reflects in my teaching! Don't hesitate and book a trial lesson with me.
See you soon,
Carmen

Hello, my name is Luca-Curtis, I am 29 years old and live in changing countries in Asia.
Until recently, I was employed as a teacher at a school for two years, teaching German as a foreign and second language and physical education from 5th to 10th grade. I spent one year alone in Asia- and one year in Africa, gaining experience in teaching there. I was teaching at the time as part of volunteer work and also privately.
If someone were to describe me, they would say that I am funny, professional, patient and attentive.
I love to travel, be at festivals and do sports (all sports).
Â
I am certified by the Goehte Institute and have over 5 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign and second language.
I taught children and teenagers from 10 - 18 years old for two years.
Adults of all ages, backgrounds and religions.

Trial lesson:
Â
We discuss your language goals and I explain how you can achieve them. Â
Of course, we also get to know each other a little and see if the chemistry between us fits. Â
I will also recommend a book that we will work with in the following lessons. If you already have a book, it would be no problem to use this one (if you have been happy with it so far). Â
Â
The lessons:
Of course, this depends on your objective and cannot be generalized here.
In general, you will talk a lot and I will correct you. Orally and in writing. We will keep a record of all corrections in GoogleDocs, which will also be available to you after our lessons, so that you can always refer back to it.Â
Â
My goal is to help you and achieve your personal goal together with you. Feel free to write me if you have a question and are unsure if I can help you with it. Â
I look forward to hearing from you and if you decide against a trial lesson, I still wish you much success in learning the German language! :)

See Reviews From StudentsMany students initially have reservations about participating in online German classes, thinking the experience will be vastly different from in-person classes. However, they often discover that online classes can be just as engaging and effective. In an online German class, you’ll interact with your teacher and classmates as if you were all in the same room. The teacher may share resources (like articles or videos) and will collaborate with you in real-time using tools like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper, ensuring an interactive learning environment. The biggest benefit is convenience: there is no need to travel, and you can book lessons for when it suits you.
While some teachers on LanguaTalk may offer in-person conversational classes in their local area, the majority specialize in online teaching. This approach is more convenient for them, allowing flexibility and the comfort of working from home. Most teachers are not based in Eindhoven and are spread across the globe, so if you're looking for a class with LanguaTalk, you should anticipate an online learning experience.
If you prefer in-person learning over online classes, LanguaTalk might not be the best fit for your needs. For local classes, you can search through community boards or local service listing websites. However, we encourage you to explore the convenience and effectiveness of online classes. You can start with a free trial session to experience the benefits first-hand, such as access to a broader range of experienced teachers and potentially lower costs.
Whilst not always the case, German classes in Eindhoven are typically more expensive than online learning options. This is due to the costs associated with using a classroom, as well as travel time and expenses for teachers. Online classes, on the other hand, eliminate these overheads. Additionally, online instructors often live in countries with lower living costs, which can further reduce the price of online classes.
If you're new to LanguaTalk, we'll provide you with a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutor offer these for free. If a tutor does not offer a free trial, the trial price will be 30 percent of their full lesson price, allowing you to still try a session at a reduced cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to determine if the tutor is a good fit for you and get a sense of what online learning is like. The tutor will assess your level and try to understand your needs and interests so that they can tailor any lessons you choose to take. You'll be encouraged to speak as much as possible in German, but you can also speak in English if needed.
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for 30 percent of their full lesson price.
Most students take 55-minute lessons. However, some tutors also offer the option of 30-minute lessons. If this option is available, it will be noted on the tutor's profile (below their pricing and above the 'Buy Lessons' button).
In general, 55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. 30-minute lessons may be suitable if you're taking lessons for your child or if you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
Lessons are taught one-on-one to ensure that you receive customized instruction. During the lessons, your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including language exercises, conversation practice, and cultural notes, to help you reach your learning objectives.
All lessons take place via video call. Your tutor will normally give you a choice of calling tools, all of which are easy to use.
One of the benefits of online lessons is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, simply check their calendar to ensure that they have times that fit your schedule. Some tutor may have limited availability due to high demand.
LanguaTalk offers personalized 1-on-1 German lessons with top-rated tutors. Here's how to get started:
1 - Find a tutor that meets your needs by reviewing their videos, reviews, pricing, and availability.
2 - Book a trial lesson. Many tutors offer a free 30-minute trial, while others offer a discounted trial price.
3 - Have personalized lessons with your chosen tutor via video call. Or try a different tutor if desired.
You don't need to provide credit card information to book a free trial session. Please only book a trial if you're seriously considering taking lessons. Tutor prices vary, and you can use the filter to find one that fits your budget. You can pay for individual lessons or purchase a package for a discount (view a tutor's pricing options on their profile).
We're confident you'll enjoy learning on LanguaTalk. Our platform is trusted by students worldwide because of our transparency. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display these ratings on tutor profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. This is because we only accept the top 10% of tutor applications, unlike other platforms.
