I am Ilaria, and I am a native Italian teacher. I have been teaching Italian for several years now, and I love my job.

I am a full-time Italian teacher, and I am building my entire career around the Italian language. I am also a blogger and a podcaster.

In the past, I have attended German and Spanish courses. But I am still a language student, in fact, I keep taking English classes, so I know how difficult and frustrating can be to learn a foreign language for my students.

My teaching method is focused on the students. During the first lesson, I ask them why they want to learn Italian and the goals they want to achieve. I am a supportive person, and I will constantly be there to guide you during the challenge of learning a foreign language!

With beginners, we will start learning grammar, but I will try to let them speak from the first lesson, helping them to create their first sentences.

Once the level advances, the part of the conversation will become gradually longer, but obviously, we will keep adding grammar information.

With students with a higher level, I will be more flexible and, the work to do will be decided together. Some of them prefer to have an informal lesson, based on conversation. Others prefer to have a more structured class, with readings and exercises.

My name is Giusy, I'm a native italian speaker. I've been learning multiple languages for many years now and it is something I am extremely passionate about, which means that I know how difficult it is to learn a language, especially if you are nervous or worried about making mistakes. As your community tutor, I will make sure to keep the conversation fun and easy so you always feel comfortable and relaxed during a lesson. My teaching style is informal and friendly, you will learn new vocabulary and improve your pronounciation while discussing our goals, hobbies and passions. We will focus on creating the perfect balance between the four key aspects of learning a language: speaking, listening, writing and reading, using a range of digital resources to keep the lesson fun and interesting.

Hello! I am a professional Italian teacher with many years of experience. I am Italian but I have been living for several years in Germany where I teach Italian in schools and at the University.

I specialised at the University of Rome and at the University for Foreigners of Perugia in teaching Italian to foreigners and, at the moment, at the University of Portsmouth in England I am carrying out a PhD on the best strategies for learning Italian language vocabulary.

*Intermediate and advanced*: In my classes you will be able to talk about topics that interest you, and you will improve your vocabulary, your grammar, and your fluency.  

I not only specialize in teaching the language but because I hold a Masters Degree in Cultural Heritage and Archeology, I have comprehensive knowledge of my country’s deep history, culture, and art to share with you!

My name is Valeria and I am a professional Italian Teacher. I hold a CEDILS certificate to teach Italian to foreigners, a Ph.D in Asian Studies and I have 10 years of teaching experience at Chinese Universities as well as one to one tutoring in the UK. I create customized lessons based on your needs and interests. I will provide you with all the material you need and I will focus on the reading and listening comprehension with the beginners (so they can start to become acquainted with the Italian language) and on conversation and fluency with the intermediate/advanced ones. Grammatical elements will be introduced as you work on your reading, listening and speaking: in this way you will learn about the language structures more naturally. During the first lesson I will give you a placement test (in order to find out your language level) and we will set the goals of the course together.
