My name is Lucrezia and currently I live in Barcelona.

I'm Italian and have studied first in Italy, completing a Bachelor Degree in International Communication and then in Germany obtaining a Master of Arts in Communication at Duisburg-Essen University.

I have experience in teaching Italian both in classes and online for all levels, from beginner to advanced and for all ages from child to adult.

The languages I speak are Italian, German, English and Spanish.

My approach to teaching is using the direct method of teaching, where the students are encouraged to speak in the target language in real contexts or about real topics. I love teaching as it enables me to share my passion for communication, share ideas, see the students grow in knowledge and skills and above all have fun!

Hi! I'm Alessandra, I'm a native Italian teacher and I have 7 years of experience teaching to people of all ages. I'm currently living in Spain and I'm in love with learning new languages and teaching mine. I try to transmit my passion to make the learning process easier and more fun.  

My method is based on conversation, which means we will start to talk together since the beginning, integrating the classes with grammar. I speak English and Spanish fluently, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you have and complete the sentences you make in Italian. 

The lessons will be personalized and we will decide everything together: we will talk about the topics you are interested in, we will decide how to reach your goals, you will have the chance to tell me any topic you would like to learn first, whether you would like homework or not and I will send you all the personalized material we will see together. Hi, I am Eleonora and I am from Italy (near Venice). 

With me, you can improve your conversational Italian. I have more than 6 years of experience tutoring students with different levels of Italian. Some of them were beginners when they started and they managed to reach a good level of Italian after a few months. I also helped more experienced students with their university exams or thesis. So, even if my classes here focus more on spoken Italian when there is a need, we can improve your written and academic Italian. 

My classes are personalized according to your needs, level of language, individual interests, and goals. During the classes, you will improve and learn new vocabulary and grammar. The classes are always different and we will use material such as songs, online videos, news, and literature text to help facilitate the conversation and your learning. It would be nice to have a cultural exchange so you can get to learn more about Italian Culture, its History, and its traditions. My students are of different nationalities and backgrounds giving me the chance to keep on learning myself. Although I specialize in teaching Italian phonetics to foreigners, especially English, Spanish, and Portuguese students, I always adapt my lessons to your level (A1-C1) and goals.
In the first free lesson, I will give you feedback about your level of Italian and ask you about your objectives and motivations.
Then, after understanding your level, I will create a plan to make your language learning fun and efficient and share it with you.
In particular, if your main aim is only to learn the Italian language, we can focus on all the aspects of the language (grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Instead, if you need to learn more about Italian culture, we will discuss history and traditions while learning the language.

I am very fond of Italian culture and I love to spread it all over the world. To know "Italy" is not only about visiting the cities of Milan, Florence or Venice. Italy is much more.
It is experiencing the calm of the Alps, hiking the Dolomites, eating Neapolitan street food, and being charmed by the Sardinian or Apulian transparent sea.
It is discovering Sicilian ways of life, hiking Mount Etna (Europe's largest active volcano), its widespread Bronte pistachio, and wines, both of them grown on volcanic soil.
But, first of all, it is a land of contrasts, which can be clearly understood only if you visit both northern and southern Italy, by getting in touch with the locals and their ways of life.
