Hi everyone! I’m Anna, an online Italian teacher specialised in Italian language and culture for foreign students. With over 15 years of experience teaching learners of all levels, I help students develop an authentic, confident and natural Italian.

I am bilingual in Italian and English, with a five-year degree in English Language and Literature and an ITALS Master’s degree (completed with top marks). My background also includes a specialisation in neurolinguistics and psycholinguistics, which shapes my teaching method and allows me to create personalised, effective learning paths based on how the brain acquires languages.

My teaching approach

In my lessons, I combine method, creativity and student-centred learning. I design activities using:

A bit about me

When I’m not teaching, I love travelling. I lived in London and later in Liverpool while writing my dissertation. I also speak Spanish, so I know very well what it means to learn a new language from scratch.

Hi, I'm a native Italian teacher living in Salerno, a little city in the south of Italy near the Amalfi Coast.

I have been studying English and Spanish, so I know from experience that learning a language takes time and dedication. My aim is to make this process as pleasant and fun as possible. 

I deal with many students around the world by giving language lessons, both in person, in Italian language schools, and online.

My passion for languages and my studies brought me to understand that languages are not just simple codes ruled by grammar norms, but that they are actually used to express ourselves as individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.

Lessons will focus primarily on the conversational aspect of the language by using textbooks and materials (e.g. PDFs, audiofiles, Googledocs) that I use in language schools in Italy.

Since I have the DITALS certification, I can help you pass CELI, PLIDA and CILS exams.

Flexibility will be guaranteed according to the student. All students will be asked to take a placement test that they will have to submit at least 3 days before the first lesson. We will be discussing the results during the fist lesson and then decide how to work together.

Since I also work in language schools, I strongly recommend booking in advance so I can arrange my agenda.

My name is Margherita, I am from Milan, I am living in Tenerife now and I have been an Italian teacher for 7 years.

My motto is: if you are a polyglot, you can do anything!

I personally speak fluently both Spanish and English as I have worked and lived in Ireland, Australia and Bolivia, before moving to the Canarian Islands.

I graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation in Milan in 2013 and afterwards I achieved the Master Itals aimed at teaching the Italian language and culture to foreigners.

I have taught Italian for four years in La Paz, Bolivia by the SOCIETà DANTE ALIGHIERI, giving classes to adults and university students, while I have taught to kids and adolescents by the Colegio Italo-Boliviano of the same city.

I returned to Italy in 2019 and I was given the opportunity to teach Italian through the Berlitz school by the Leonardo Elicotteri Company, addressing to English managers and engineers.

As regards my teaching method, the student is the centre of the learning process.

Therefore I customize my lessons considering your interests and the topics you want to talk about using different materials like videos, songs, online activities, along with written texts.

This way lessons are based especially on CONVERSATION as I think that each language's goal is to communicate.

Hi! My name is Martina, I’m Italian and I live in Rome.

I’m graduated in Foreign Languages and I have a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation.

I can speak English and Spanish at a good level and I also speak a little bit of French.

As you can see from my background, I’m a big fan of languages, so I fully understand how difficult it is to learn a new language. But I’m here to help you!

In Rome I teach Italian as a foreign language to young adults coming from all over Europe, from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. So, my classes depend a lot on the level of the student.

At beginner level I focus mainly on the basic aspects of communication, using readings, songs and videos,with more emphasis on grammar.

At advanced levels the classes are more informal, based on conversations regarding different topics that we can choose together.

Therefore, my aim  is to listen to each student's needs and tailor the class according to their interests.

I enjoy travelling, watching TV series, and especially cooking and eating desserts.

My name is Lucrezia and currently I live in Barcelona.

I'm Italian and have studied first in Italy, completing a Bachelor Degree in International Communication and then in Germany obtaining a Master of Arts in Communication at Duisburg-Essen University.

I have experience in teaching Italian both in classes and online for all levels, from beginner to advanced and for all ages from child to adult.

The languages I speak are Italian, German, English and Spanish.

My approach to teaching is using the direct method of teaching, where the students are encouraged to speak in the target language in real contexts or about real topics. I love teaching as it enables me to share my passion for communication, share ideas, see the students grow in knowledge and skills and above all have fun!
