Hi, I'm Cristina from Italy!

I studied Foreign languages and Linguistics and I'm here to help you learn and discover the beauties of the Italian language. My lessons are mainly focused on grammar, vocabulary, conversation and pronunciation. My approach to teaching depends on the level and goals of the student. Not only will we learn grammar and new words but we will also pay attention to the correct pronunciation (I have a standard pronunciation so you can easily learn the standard variety of Italian)  : the student will be given some exercises to practise their pronunciation (tongue twisters are great to practise the difficult sounds of a foreign language!). Moreover, we will develop the four language skills ( speaking, writing, listening and reading) through constant and gradual training. 

With more advanced students, it can be great to have conversational lessons. Since I'm a very curious person (I'm very passionate about Science, Art and sport) we may talk about any topic you are interested in.

I have a teacher in Lettere Moderne and I'm certified to teach Italian language to foreigners. I've been teaching for 5 years non-stop and I've experimented with many methods of teaching. Since I was a child, I have had a great passion for foreign languages and the different cultures of the world. This passion has helped me in my many travels and cultural interactions with people from all over the world.

I worked for many years in the tourism industry and I have many hobbies and interests. I like reading, art, cooking (Italian food, of course!), music, sports, cinema, trekking, holistic therapies and much more!
