I started learning English in elementary school and had Spanish classes for two years at university. I also speak Italian as I currently live in Italy.

Of course, I always adapt my method to your individual situation

About me : I was born in Switzerland. My mother tongue is French, which I always speak with my relatives and my friends. I also speak Italian as I grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland (Ticino) and I still live there

My name is Stephanie and I am a native French speaker born and raised in France. I have been teaching French online since 2015 and I have students all over the world. I really take pleasure in doing it. I have lived in Canada for over 10 years and as a self-taught language learner, I easily understand the challenges you have to go through to learn a foreign language. 


I focus my lessons on speaking and all my lessons are tailored to your level and needs.

For beginners, I use a textbook with small dialogues to learn the basics of conversation and through them I explain the vocabulary, grammar and conjugation.

For intermediate and advanced level, I can offer a French conversation lesson. During the conversation you will learn every-day expressions, enhance your fluidity and improve your listening and understanding level. Or we can focus half the lesson on conversation and half on grammar with textbook. 

Coaching for job interviews, oral and writing presentations and exam FIDE (Switzerland) 

With a background in human resources, I am good at listening and giving feedback. I can provide clarity, confidence and tailored lessons to help you progress in learning French. Patient and creative I like to teach in a fun way which is one of the keys to success.

During my spare time, I love hiking, painting and studying languages.

Bonjour ! My name is Adeline & I'm a full-time French teacher. I also speak English fluently and a bit of Spanish. I live in France, my home country, and I like to do conversational classes to teach my language, and sometimes a bit of my culture, to foreigner students. If you want to know a little bit more about me, here are the things I'm passionate about: cooking, gardening, video games, nature, travels and other cultures. I also enjoy learning new things therefore do not hesitate to tell me everything about your very own interests :)

My lessons

Whether you are here to learn French from scratch, or to improve that language, you've come to the right person. As I can speak English and Spanish, don't worry if your French is not completely fluent: we will work on it together. I learned my other languages while traveling so I'm very aware about the fact that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it everyday in casual conversations.
I usually like to start with a first conversation to evaluate your French level and your goals. We will then decide together what kind of class, duration and frequency best suits your needs, level and availability. Then I will adapt the way I speak and teach to your personal needs. 
We will spend the majority of our time together having conversations in French and, if you want, I also can provide formal lessons with exercises & oral or written comprehension.

I am an enthusiastic French teacher (I also teach English, Russian, Spanish and German). So, your mother tongue can be any of these languages  as I   speak and teach in all of these languages. Learning grammar is only one part of learning a language, the other part is practicing, and of course having as much fun as possible during the learning process! I work with a book to give your learning a structure. However, I also choose interesting videos, audio files and conversation topics so that you get immersed into the language as much as possible. 

My focus lies on the right pronunciation, motivating you and showing you that learning a language can be lots of fun. I have lived and worked two years in the South of France and have a German diploma in translation and interpretation for French, German and English. I speak 7 languages and 5 of them fluently. I want to show you that it is possible to learn a new language fast and with fun. I usually need 3-4 weeks in order to speak a new language fluently. How do I do it? Through as much immersion into the language as possible: reading books, comics, watching cartoons, films, YouTube videos, listening to songs, and speaking to natives in real life and online.

I am a certified examiner for DELF A1-A2-B1.I have been teaching french for 14 years.Be it general or business french, my students quickly become comfortable and confident with the language, I have also trained many multinational companies all over the world . I use the learner-centered methods, the input of the sessions are a blend of practice and theory of the language. I use practical activities based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT),  methodology, throughout the course, I encourage my students to use their own daily situations in class and express them in french like in real life in role plays. In conversation classes, I’ll give you plenty of time to speak and I will provide you with detailed feedback that will help you get a better understanding of the use of French. I choose topics we can talk about during and plan lessons around them. However, you are very welcome to choose topics that fit your own interests.

For exam preparation classes, I will focus on improving your writing and speaking skills to help you reach the score you aim at. I have helped many students get the B2+ and more in TEF and TCF Canada exams.

As for beginners classes, we can use a manual or have informal classes.
