And if you're a beginner, I want to let you know that I use a practical French book from a reputable publishing house specializing in French as a foreign language. This book is designed to help you build a strong foundation in French, and it features 9 comprehensive units that cover the essentials of the language.

And to keep our lessons dynamic and engaging, we’ll use a variety of materials, including texts, articles, videos, audio recordings, and more. I can also assign exercises to help you consolidate your learning between lessons.

Bonjour ! Are you ready to elevate your French skills, refine your pronunciation, or simply enjoy meaningful conversations in French? 

What do I offer? I provide tailored French conversations and classes to help you improve your speaking skills, pronunciation, and vocabulary. My focus is to make you feel at ease with the language and able to engage in fluid, natural conversations with native speakers. With my guidance, you’ll gain the confidence to express yourself authentically in French.

During our trial session, we’ll outline your specific goals, level, and aspirations. From there, I’ll craft personalised lessons designed to meet your needs. While I don’t assign homework unless requested, I enjoy keeping in touch with my students by sharing curated French content—videos, podcasts, songs, and more—to complement our sessions and immerse you further in the language.

My teaching style?My approach is relaxed yet effective, blending cultural insights with practical language skills. Together, we’ll explore how French is spoken in daily life, from casual conversations to nuanced expressions used by native speakers. I correct mistakes using the "silent method," which means you can speak freely without interruptions. At the end of each session, I’ll provide feedback and actionable tips to help you improve with each conversation. If you prefer a more formal or structured approach, I’m happy to adapt to your learning style.

A little about me. I’m a native French speaker from Northern France, though my friends like to call me a “woman with a suitcase” because of my love for travel and exploring new places. My journey to teaching wasn’t a traditional one, but I’ve been passionately teaching French for three years now. What inspires me most is seeing my students achieve their goals and grow more confident in their language skills. 

I’m always thinking about new ways to help French learners succeed. Recently, I’ve introduced the idea of French immersion stays, offering a unique opportunity for students to practice the language in a fully immersive environment while experiencing authentic French culture. 

As someone currently learning two other languages myself, I know the joys and challenges of mastering a new language. This shared experience motivates me to create lessons that are practical, engaging, and focused on real progress. 

Bonjour, my name is Marion, I am 34 and I am French.

Being a native French speaker and fluent in English, passionate about languages and having been down the path of learning a new language myself, I understand the struggles that a new language learner might have and I know how to be successful, whatever level you decide you want to achieve. 

All the lessons are ONLINE, through Zoom (or Skype). I use various contents such as workbooks, audio documents, and videos and I am trying to keep up to date with the constant flow of new learning material to give you the best experience. I aim to make learning French as fun as possible while matching your needs and reaching your goals. After each lesson, I would send you an email with a recap of what had been covered (+ materials), what you can do at home to practise - only if you want - and what we would cover in the next lesson so you know exactly where you are at.

My background: After obtaining my Baccalauréat in Economic and Social Sciences, I studied for 5 years to become an osteopath in France. In 2016 I left my home country to spend one year working and travelling in New Zealand. I spent another two years in Australia and in 2019 I decided to move to the UK.

Hello ! My name is Charlotte, from France. Learning languages is a passion of mine, along with many others :-) I welcome everyone to come and learn with me; whatever your current level, I’ll be very happy to help you gain more fluency in French. I’m very patient and will provide a cheerful and safe environment where you can talk without any stress or fear of being judged. I try to stick to French as much as possible during the lessons in order to build up your confidence about being able to navigate through your new language. 

I believe in helping you master French as it is spoken/written by actual French-speaking people, not textbooks. This means adapting the material and language level to the situation. Indeed, we don’t usually speak in daily life the way a journalist does on the news. And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential.

Hi, I'm Sabrina, I was born in Bayonne but my studies in French Literature and French as a Foreign Language led me to live and work in different places and countries, to many students of all ages and levels ! 

That's why I would be delighted to teach my French language, whether you need it for your work, your studies, to pass your DELF/DALF examens, to brush up your grammar or to master the "art de la conversation". I always tailor my lesson, based on your level, your goals and your interests. 

As a creative person, I try to use that part of my personality to make our lesson fun yet efficient, in a relaxed atmosphere where you feel confident to speak and explore French. This is the time where you have the ability to speak French as much as possible.

I’m always in search for new material (articles, songs, podcasts, games…) to work on, trying as much as possible to use authentic material and any tools (Google Docs, screenshare, slides…) that seem adequate to learn the language French people actually speak. 

I've got loads of texbooks as well, where I like to extract interesting texts or drills to make you practise when it seems relevant to do so. 

What's important to me is that each online lesson is a place and time where you can feel confident to speak in French, in a relaxed atmosphere where you can explore our beautiful language and culture. 

I am a very easy-going, passionate and good-natured person, keen in many different subjects and aspects of our life. When I'm not teaching, I like reading, watching movies, writing, walking, traveling, practising yoga, doing theater and struggling on my guitar ! (To only name a few)

About me

Bonjour ! My name is Adeline & I'm a full-time French teacher. I also speak English fluently and a bit of Spanish. I live in France, my home country, and I like to do conversational classes to teach my language, and sometimes a bit of my culture, to foreigner students. If you want to know a little bit more about me, here are the things I'm passionate about: cooking, gardening, video games, nature, travels and other cultures. I also enjoy learning new things therefore do not hesitate to tell me everything about your very own interests :)

My lessons

Whether you are here to learn French from scratch, or to improve that language, you've come to the right person. As I can speak English and Spanish, don't worry if your French is not completely fluent: we will work on it together. I learned my other languages while travelling so I'm very aware about the fact that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it everyday in casual conversations.
I usualy like to start with a first conversation to evaluate your French level and your goals. We will then decide together what kind of class, duration and frequency best suits your needs, level and availability. Then I will adapt the way I speak and teach to your personal needs. 
We will spend the majority of our time together having conversations in French and, if you want, I also can provide formal lessons with exercices & oral or written comprehension.

Hi all! My name is Miriam, I speak four languages and I have been teaching French online for 3 years. My mother tongue is Arabic and I started learning French since I was 3 years old. I started learning English in elementary school and had Spanish classes for two years at university. I also speak Italian as I currently live in Italy.

We study a grammar rule, and a vocabulary theme.

Then we do exercices to practice.

After this, we have an oral conversation and you have the opportunity to use the grammar rules and the vocabulary studied.

In the beginning of each lesson, we review words studied previously.

I am a certified examiner for DELF A1-A2-B1.I have been teaching french for 14 years.Be it general or business french, my students quickly become comfortable and confident with the language, I have also trained many multinational companies all over the world . I use the learner-centered methods, the input of the sessions are a blend of practice and theory of the language. I use practical activities based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT),  methodology, throughout the course, I encourage my students to use their own daily situations in class and express them in french like in real life in role plays.
