I'm Lola, 30, and a full time french teacher. Four years ago I managed to conciliate my job and living abroad as a digital nomad and when I came back to France it was a natural decision to keep going with this job as I love teaching.

About me

I graduated in French Literature, Philosophy and History (Université Paris 10), and I hold a M. Sc. in Global Change Management (HNE Eberswalde).

Before I moved to São Paulo, Brazil, I lived five years in Berlin where I started to teach. There I tutored privately and also gave literacy classes in German for young refugees. From May 2017 to September 2017, I did training to be a French teacher and I taught French at the Technical University of Berlin for three semesters.

At the moment, I work with several language schools in São Paulo (IFESP, Versátil Idiomas, and the French Alliance). I have experience with teaching to all levels and ages. I also have experience in creating didactic material. 

In parallel to my teaching activities, I also have a solid experience with translation work (English, German, Portuguese > French).

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone. Together we will practice conversation, reading, writing, listening and pronunciation with different kinds of supports. I can prepare you for the DELF A1,A2,B1 or B2 exam. Why do you wish to learn French?  

Together we can improve your conversation, reading and listening skills in formal and informal French, prepare your exams or a job interview, learning the daily vocabulary you may need while travelling or moving to France, be able to comunicate with your boyfriend/husband's family, etc... You choose  and I adapt my teaching according to your needs and preferences.

I endeavour to vary the teaching materials (video, articles, games, role play ...) and be as interactive as possible with you!

If you wish, I will also send you some exercises, podcasts and other things to do between classes.  

At the end of every class I will send you a recap, together we will build up a learning plan for you and we will check that we are going in the right direction with some quick test every  5 lessons or so if you wish to!
