***Note : Thanks for all your trust, I'm very grateful. Please, note that my calendar is very tight on this platform, don't hesitate to book in advance your lessons to avoid seing your slot already taken or send me an email if you don't see your normal time on the calendar. ***
Hi, I'm Sabrina, I was born in Bayonne but my studies in French Literature and French as a Foreign Language led me to live and work in different places and countries, to many students of all ages and levels !Â
That's why I would be delighted to teach my French language, whether you need it for your work, your studies, to pass your DELF/DALF examens, to brush up your grammar or to master the "art de la conversation". I always tailor my lesson, based on your level, your goals and your interests.Â
As a creative person, I try to use that part of my personality to make our lesson fun yet efficient, in a relaxed atmosphere where you feel confident to speak and explore French. This is the time where you have the ability to speak French as much as possible.
Iâm always in search for new material (articles, songs, podcasts, gamesâŠ) to work on, trying as much as possible to use authentic material and any tools (Google Docs, screenshare, slidesâŠ) that seem adequate to learn the language French people actually speak.Â
I've got loads of texbooks as well, where I like to extract interesting texts or drills to make you practise when it seems relevant to do so.Â
What's important to me is that each online lesson is a place and time where you can feel confident to speak in French, in a relaxed atmosphere where you can explore our beautiful language and culture.Â
I am a very easy-going, passionate and good-natured person, keen in many different subjects and aspects of our life. When I'm not teaching, I like reading, watching movies, writing, walking, traveling, practising yoga, doing theater and struggling on my guitar ! (To only name a few)
Looking forward to meeting you on this platform and learning together !
Au plaisir !

Hello Everyone,
Languages are a passion of mine, I am currently working on language 5 and 6. Because I've been learning other languages I am very familiar with the difficulties my students can have and which methods are efficient.
My first objective is for my student to develop the skills to speak and understand French so that they can be independant consulting French content at home. My classes are very relaxed and I try to have a good time while I teach. My classes are tailored to each student's level.
I also do give a little bit of homework.

A few years ago, when I was in bed at night and almost ready to sleep, I used to ask myself this question : "Why would people want to learn French? Are they crazy?"
Well... Are you?
It definitely takes guts for someone to take the obscure path of French learning, especially when you know that almost no francophone can speak French perfectly. And it is this courageous desire detected in French learners that made me want to start teaching this language three years ago. In fact, besides the syntactic complexity of this language (which, by the way, is most likely to be a clichĂ©), French is a very poetic language, as it allows countless accesses to figurative speeches (so if you tend to be a little sarcastic at times, this might be perfect for you). Plus, French is cool and sounds fancy too, so... đ
Whether you plan to
I would be very happy to help you achieve your goals and share my knowledge and advices with you as best I can. Please do book a 30 minute trial session with me to discuss your needs!
About me : My name is Clarysse. I am 22 years old, I've been teaching Latin and French for the past two years and I am very passionate about everything I do. If I had to describe myself in three words as a tutor, I would say funny, methodical and adaptable.

About me
I graduated in French Literature, Philosophy and History (Université Paris 10), and I hold a M. Sc. in Global Change Management (HNE Eberswalde).
Before I moved to SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil, I lived five years in Berlin where I started to teach. There I tutored privately and also gave literacy classes in German for young refugees. From May 2017 to September 2017, I did training to be a French teacher and I taught French at the Technical University of Berlin for three semesters.
At the moment, I work with several language schools in SĂŁo Paulo (IFESP, VersĂĄtil Idiomas, and the French Alliance). I have experience with teaching to all levels and ages. I also have experience in creating didactic material.
In parallel to my teaching activities, I also have a solid experience with translation work (English, German, Portuguese > French).
My methodology
My methodology adapts to fit your desires, needs, and interests.
Depending on your objective with the French language (pass a test, work, travel, personal curiosity, etc.), I offer a customised learning path with lively and playful lessons.
During the last four years, I have gathered a large online collection of methods and teaching materials allowing me to build a learning path that is adapted for you. I can provide these free of charge.

Bonjour,
I'm Romain, I provide Online Private French Lessons for adults & kids.
I'm the creator of a visual method that uses symbols to represent words, tenses, and grammatical aspects, representing each word with a clear and obvious symbol, helping your brain to memorize and make complex sentences.
This tool is great for people who want & need to visualize what theyâre learning.
Moreover, illustrations make your learning experience more fun, easier, but also incredibly effective.
With those symbols placed side by side, the student will start to talk from the very first class guaranteed! Kids learn their native language visually, why would we use another method with adults?
For the past 10 years, I've been teaching French in NYC (Tribeca School), in Shanghai (Fudan University) & Rio de Janeiro.
I have a lawyer degree but I followed my passion for languages and teaching French is my main activity.
Why should you study with me?
I have observed that some of my students have learnt French in school for many years, some could write and read, but mostly they couldn't speak French.
That's why I've created a visual teaching method that works principally with your visual memory, because my first goal is to speak with you as soon as possible only in French.
For more advanced students, the program includes the study of:
- Slang.
- Songs
- French expressions & their origins.
- Grammar points and different tenses
- Broaden your vocabulary in various current events topics
- Develop your listening comprehension skills, we'll study some famous French movies dialogues and songs to train your comprehension.
- Refine your pronunciation and your accent
- Expand your knowledge of French history (one of my passions), culture and society.
I quickly grasp the strengths and weaknesses of my students, and I like to challenge them during the class so the lesson is neither too easy nor too hard. I also adapt my lessons according to your needs.
I just need to know your wishes, and I will prepare every time a special lesson for you, in accordance with your interests.
I'll help building your confidence, did you know what a foreign accent is? Itâs a sign of bravery!
I can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish & Mandarin to give explanations in your native language when it is needed.

Hello and welcome to my page ! Â Â
My name is Célia, a native French teacher living in Germany. I have graduated of my master of French as a Foreign Language [teaching French to foreigners] in 2020 at the university of Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, and I became a DELF (A1-B2) corrector in 2022. I grew up in a small village next to Montpellier, and I have been living in Germany for the past 3 years.
During my masterâs degree, I learned how to create didactic unit (lessons), exams, and how to use the CEFR (common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I have been teaching French online for the last 3 years to students ranging from level A1 to level B2, and students of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you need some help with preparing an exam, want to build on your knowledge or just want to practice your oral skills, I am more than happy to help you!
During our first class, I will ask you: why you want to learn French, what are your goals, what are your interests, if you want to study one aspect of the language more than another, what is your current level of French etc. Our first conversation during our trial lesson will allow me to get an idea of your level and to prepare a plan for our next lessons. The resources I use are diverse: oral comprehension from the media, text comprehensions [studies of books, articles, extracts of text], grammar exercises etc. The resources are adapted to your level and your objectives. Most of the resources will be provided to you. I also provide a lesson file and homework for each lesson ïŒ-  ✠ -).
My teaching method is mainly based on communicative and action-oriented approaches. My goal is to involve students as much as possible in their learning, to encourage them to express themselves as much as possible in French in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I am aware that learning a language is not easy. Sometimes you fear making mistakes, but that's part of the learning process. I am here to help you gain self-confidence, encourage you and guide you on this journey of learning a language.
I am passionate about civilization and languages. Likewise, I love to share my culture with foreigners as I get to know theirs. I am sure we can find many interesting topics to discuss and build up your French skills quickly!

See Reviews From StudentsWhether you live in the city centre or the suburbs of Mechelen, there are many options for learning French. You could use an app or a software program if you're looking to pick up basic vocabulary and learn some grammar rules. Alternatively, you could attend group lessons with French tutors in Mechelen if you're keen for a social experience. Or, you could take 1-on-1 lessons with a private tutor. This isn't the cheapest way to learn a language but it's possibly the most effective, assuming you have a good tutor. Learning online rather than face-to-face may make private tutors a more affordable option. Check the tutor profiles above to see how much it's likely to cost. Prices vary a lot depending on the tutor, but will usually be cheaper than learning with a French tutor in Mechelen, face-to-face.
If you're really not keen on learning with a teacher via video call, LanguaTalk isn't going to be the right choice for you. You can instead search for a tutor on a local service listing website, or put up an advert in your local area. We do encourage you to give it a try learning online though - you've got nothing to lose as you can book a free trial session. Most people find the experience is as good as learning face-to-face, but with the benefit of having access to better tutors at a lower cost.
Sometimes students tell us that they're not sure about learning French online because they think itâll be completely different to learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a solid relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen tutor, youâll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. The tutor will typically also share learning resources with you (newspaper articles, YouTube, etc.) and youâll be able to collaborate in real-time using a tool like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper.
Tutors on LanguaTalk sometimes provide lessons locally, but most only provide online lessons as it is more convenient and allows them to work from home. In addition, most tutors are not teaching French in Mechelen because they're living elsewhere in the world. If you decide to book with a tutor, you should assume that they can only teach you online.
Our research suggests that the average cost for private French lessons in Mechelen is somewhere between $25-$35 per hour. As online tutors do not need to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living, the hourly cost tends to be significantly lower.
On LanguaTalk, you can find exceptional tutors for 1-on-1 French lessons tailored to your goals and learning preferences. Hereâs how to try it for yourself:
1 - Find your ideal tutor by browsing videos, reviews, pricing and availability.
2 - Book a trial. Many tutors offer a 30-minute trial for free; others charge a discounted price.
3 - Take personalised lessons with your new tutor via video call. Or try someone else.
No card is required to book a free trial session. Please only book if you're considering taking lessons. Pricing varies by tutor and you can use the filter to find someone who fits your budget. You can pay one lesson at a time, or buy in bulk for a discount (open a tutor's profile to see their pricing options).
Weâre confident youâll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutorsâ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the 'Help' button in the bottom-right. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
The vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, youâll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the âBuy Lessonsâ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if theyâre for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, just check their calendar to make sure that they have available times that fit your schedule. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have a lot of students.
New to LanguaTalk? We'll give you a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutors offer these for free. If they do not, the price will be just 30 percent of their full lesson price, so you can still try a session at minimal cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in French as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too!
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is quite right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for just 30 percent of their full lesson price.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutorâs full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, youâll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experiences, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever French tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
