My name is Oana Maria and I am a professional language teacher and a Linguist graduated at the University of Bordeaux , France. I am currently living in North Norway. I came here to take a second master on Sami language and culture, and recently I have been working in an alternative school with kids. 

I am an eternal language learner and a nomad at heart. I love getting to know new places, living in different countries and cultures and never stop learning. I consider learning a language as buying a new pair of shoes that will lead you to a new culture, experience and life style. And definitely, open up your horizons. 

I am currently developing my own methodology to teach languages through theater and arts, therefore my lessons are full of games, dialogues and dramaturgical exercices to make you feel comfortable using the language but also creative and dynamic and ready to use the language in everyday situation.

I am also a visual artist. My passions are art, travels and nature. But I am very curious to know what yours are… I teach you French and you teach me about things you like !

Hi, my name is Farid. Teaching French is something I really enjoy, especially when I witness my students progressing in the language and towards their goals. I have been teaching French for almost 4 years now. My students are children, teenagers and adults of all ages and levels. My lessons are usually customized to meet the needs of the students. I use different materials to teach my students; like comprehension texts, dialogues, stories, vocab materials, games..etc.. I have obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Teaching skills and I also hold a DBS check up-to-date.

In 2010, I left my birth country France to move to the United Kingdom. I am currently in Algeria for a few months, as I wanted to (re)discover my parents country. I love travelling and discovering new cultures and languages. I also speak a little Arabic.

I adapt the class in fonction of levels and needs. For example, if you have just started French, we will see together the basics of the language, the pronunciation... Or if you need to speak French in such a situation, we will do fun exercises together... In the same way, if your level is very good and you only want to discuss and be corrected, it's possible too :) At the end of the course, i send you a document which retraces it. My name is Diane, I am from the French-speaking part of Switzerland and I am living in Greece at the moment.

I have been a French teacher for people claiming asylum in Switzerland for more than a year now, therefore I have good material for beginners wanting to start learning French. I have taught to groups of adults from A0 to B1 levels with great results! My methodology is quite flexible according to what my students prefer, though I like starting from daily-life situations (going grocery shopping, book an appointment at the doctor's, taking the train...) and elaborating on new vocabulary, grammar rules, verb tenses from that starting point. Reading some French simple texts, listening to French songs and/or playing games in French are also tools that I love using if you are interested in trying this out! I can also give homework if you want to work more on your own, and we can correct them together.

I love music and art in general, as well as reading so it would be my pleasure to introduce you to some of my favorite French-speaking artists!

In addition, I have been learning languages since a very young age and I am currently learning Greek, so I understand the challenges you might face regarding French! Be sure that my classes are a safe and benevolent environnement, designed to make you dare to speak and make mistakes; that's how you'll learn! ;)

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone. I really take pleasure in doing it. I have lived in Canada for over 10 years and as a self-taught language learner, I easily understand the challenges you have to go through to learn a foreign language. 


I focus my lessons on speaking and all my lessons are tailored to your level and needs.

For beginners, I use small dialogues to learn the basics of conversation and through them I explain the vocabulary, grammar and conjugation.

If you need to practice your pronunciation and learn vocabulary I would propose a read-aloud lesson. I will choose a text according to your level or you can bring your own material.

For intermediate and advanced level, I can offer a French conversation lesson. During the conversation you will learn every-day expressions, enhance your fluidity and improve your listening and understanding level.
