Hello ! Welcome to my profile. Why do you want to learn French ? Maybe for  travel or for your job ? My aim is to help you achieve your own gowls in this language. I adapt the class in fonction of levels and needs. For example, if you have just started French, we will see together the basics of the language, the pronunciation... Or if you need to speak French in such a situation, we will do fun exercises together... In the same way, if your level is very good and you only want to discuss and be corrected, it's possible too :) At the end of the course, i send you a document which retraces it. I can't wait to start together !

Ou si tu as besoin de parler français dans une situation précise, nous ferons ensemble des exercices ludiques... De la même manière, si tu as un très bon niveau en français et que tu souhaites simplement discuter et être corrigé, c'est possible aussi :) A la fin du cours, je t'envoie un document retraçant celui-ci. Learning languages is a passion of mine, along with many others :-) I welcome everyone to come and learn with me; whatever your current level, I’ll be very happy to help you gain more fluency in French. I’m very patient and will provide a cheerful and safe environment where you can talk without any stress or fear of being judged. I try to stick to French as much as possible during the lessons in order to build up your confidence about being able to navigate through your new language. 

I believe in helping you master French as it is spoken/written by actual French-speaking people, not textbooks. This means adapting the material and language level to the situation. Indeed, we don’t usually speak in daily life the way a journalist does on the news. And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential.

It is always a pleasure to be able to have a fluent conversation (or a heated debate) with students who sometimes started as total beginners and to see them acing their exams.

As for the method, I use trusted manuals and activity books because I believe in structure, but also material that suits your interests and tastes - from literature to popular songs, news to scientific articles, series, and movies (subtitled or not), online resources and grammar exercises. Resources are shared on a Slack group where lessons are summarized, and tasks listed. I can also tailor-make lessons for a specific objective like a job interview or a power point presentation.

Teaching French has been my main activity for several years both privately and at the Alliance Française. I am outgoing and chatty, but homework is not optional (at least if you want to improve fast!).

I'm the creator of a visual method that uses symbols to represent words, tenses, and grammatical aspects, representing each word with a clear and obvious symbol, helping your brain to memorize and make complex sentences.
This tool is great for people who want & need to visualize what they’re learning.

Hello, my name is Marvin, I am French but I live in Galicia, west of Spain. I have been an online teacher for three years now during which I have given more than 1600 lessons. Also, I am currently finishing my master's degree in didactics to teach French. And before that, I graduated from the Alliance Française to be certified as a professional teacher.

During my lessons, I know how to be flexible to adapt to your needs and your personality. I'm Caroline. Originally from France.  With a background as a primary school French teacher for four years, I've decided to take a break from my teaching role in France to explore the world and teach in other country. I also give private French lessons since 4 years.

I find great joy in the world of cinema. Music is another passion of mine. I'm an avid reader, finding solace in the pages of books that take me on journeys beyond imagination. Beyond the arts, I also have an active side. Playing handball has been a fantastic outlet for me.  And of course, as you might expect, my fervor for French culture is unending. I'm Tina! Originally from Paris, France, where I lived for most of my life, I’ve been living overseas for the past 10 years and currently in beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

I've been a full time tennis coach for 16 years in several countries and changed careers 3 years ago for the social work field. I’ve also been tutoring students in English and French all throughout my tennis coaching years and up to this day! From complete beginners to advanced levels, children to adults, group and private lessons, I love the variation and finding new ways to make lessons fun and adapted to each student’s own needs and expectations!

I’ve been a student myself, learning English, Spanish, Dutch... I’ve had the chance to meet great teachers along the way who taught me valuable lessons: love to learn, love what you learn and always have fun while you’re doing it! I deeply aspire to be as helpful to my students as my teachers have been to me.
