 If you are interested, I implement mindfulness, and breathe work exercises to bring all our attention to the class and to favor the concentration and maximize the feeling of joy while learning. We will use online platforms, games, videos, and audios to create fun and interactive classes. I take the time to design the curriculum for each student because we all learn different.

Hey there! I'm Alexa, a native Spanish speaker originally from Venezuela but now residing in Mexico for the past 8 years.

I'm really into learning languages because it's super exciting! It opens up new doors and brings about some awesome experiences. Currently, I'm immersing myself in the world of Chinese and Portuguese. I believe the whole point of learning a new language is to connect with people, understand their culture, and dive into cool new experiences.

My teaching style is all about keeping it fun and practical. We'll jump into real-life situations, chat about interesting stuff, share stories, and pick up everyday phrases, verbs, and vocab—the language of everyday life, you know?

¡Hola! My name is Pablo. I am a native Spanish-speaking tutor from Guatemala. 

With over 20 years of teaching experience, I can help you reach your Spanish goals. I have a teaching certificate from the University of San Carlos and have taught Spanish in schools, universities, and online. I teach from beginners to advanced, and my students range from school students to 80 year olds! 

In the first lesson, I'll find out your Spanish level and interests to customize lessons that inspire your learning journey. For instance, if you enjoy films, we can include movie discussions. Don't worry if you are new to Spanish as we can begin from the basics.

For school students, lessons are tailored to match your school curriculum, and we will work towards achieving the highest grades. For adults, the lessons are focused, practical and fun. You will learn Spanish language skills to apply to real-world scenarios. You can go from knowing no Spanish at all to soon putting together your own sentences.  Whilst I use a textbook to provide structure to the lessons, I also use other resources from YouTube videos to Spanish-speaking film clips. 

Since I am from Guatemala, I love sharing with my students, the richness of Latin American culture and customs!  I am a very patient person and also have a good sense of humour so it's never a dull class. Above all, I prioritize making Spanish learning enjoyable and personally relevant to you. Teaching is my passion, and I believe being patient and empathetic ensures a positive learning experience. My experience teaching these subjects varies in ages, from 6 to 87 years old across different nationalities, backgrounds and abilities.

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I’ve been teaching Spanish as a second language online since January 2015, and I have about 15 years of experience teaching private classes on various topics to teenagers. Before my teaching career, I worked in roles related to my Higher Technical Certificate in Administration.

Learning a language is a challenge—I know this firsthand. I earned certificates in two languages: the First Certificate in English from the Polytechnic of Central London and a Certificat de la Langue Française from the Alliance Française de Paris.
