If you want a natural, meaningful conversation, don’t just rely on AI, talk to a human being.

Unlike AI, I can give you the meanings of the same word or phrase by changing the tone or placing it in different contexts. I can also warn you about expressions you should avoid but need to recognize, which is something only a human teacher with real-life experience can do. Additionally, I’ll help you refine your pronunciation, focusing on the subtleties that make communication sound natural. Besides, I can tell you about experiences and personal stories I've lived—something only a human can truly explain and I can better understand to situations you might have experienced.

Now, let’s get back to talking about me:
I’ve been teaching Spanish as a second language online since January 2015, and I have about 15 years of experience teaching private classes on various topics to teenagers. Before my teaching career, I worked in roles related to my Higher Technical Certificate in Administration.

Learning a language is a challenge—I know this firsthand. I earned certificates in two languages: the First Certificate in English from the Polytechnic of Central London and a Certificat de la Langue Française from the Alliance Française de Paris.

So, what can you expect from my lessons? If you book lessons with me, we won’t just focus on grammar; we’ll speak! I design lessons tailored to your needs, level, and goals. During our sessions, I’ll correct your mistakes and help you improve your pronunciation, vocabulary, expressions, and grammar—all based on real conversations. 

Speaking is the hardest skill to master, but we’ll work together step by step until you can speak naturally and confidently, without any pressure.

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, I am Spanish although I have lived in many different countries. My mother tongue is Spanish but I also speak English, Portuguese and a little French. Teaching Spanish is my passion. The part I like the most about my job is the opportunity to meet different people and learn from them while they enjoy learning Spanish.

Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.

We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. Hello, I'm Ruth, and I am from Peru. I live in Cusco, the city of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located. I'd love to be your future Spanish tutor!  Likewise, I've been teaching for a while, working with a diverse range of students. This experience has helped me understand how individuals learn at different stages of life. Also, my knowledge of English allows me to connect with students and help them grasp the nuances of the Spanish language. I really enjoy teaching and supporting students to master my native language, of which I am very passionate.

My teaching style is all about making learning fun and interactive. I'll simplify things for you, especially boosting your confidence in speaking. It's important to note that our classes are mostly conversational because speaking is where you'll truly master Spanish. However, I'll adjust the classes to your needs. We'll discuss topics you enjoy and apply them to practical scenarios, empowering you to communicate effectively in everyday situations.

I am qualified Spanish teacher from Málaga (Spain). I lived and taught in London for over 14 years before moving back to Málaga in 2019. I gained my Certificate for Spanish Teaching to Adults in 2011 from International House School of Languages, and I also have a Cambridge CELTA (for English teaching) from the same school, completed in 2020. 

I have taught Spanish to business professionals, at University, to GCSE, A Level and DELE students, and to learners who just take lessons for travelling or self-improvement. My previous and current students all come from multiple backgrounds, nationalities, abilities and levels of Spanish, from total beginner to advanced.

In my classes you will start communicating by simple dialogues (simple if you're a beginner) from the first lesson. I will focus on improving your pronunciation (something often overlooked by teachers); teaching you the grammar gradually, so you don't feel overwhelmed; enriching your vocabulary prioritizing your needs and personal interests; and improving your fluency. My students often praise my patience, my well-planned lessons and the fact that they feel relaxed to learn in class. I welcome mistakes (and correct them of course!) as a sure sign that learning is happening. You do learn a lot from your mistakes. 

As a lifelong lover of the arts and a practicing artist, I like to give my classes a cultural flavour, sharing relevant information about music, films, books and art.
