Our lessons for beginner follow a sequential program, each building on the last for optimal learning. By the end, you'll:

Periodic written and spoken assessments will ensure we stay on course.

Tried the 9-5 corporate life in the States—hated it. ❌💼 So, I got trained to teach Spanish online in a fun, dynamic way, and it's been an incredible six-year journey! I lived in the U.S. for six years, so I know the struggle of speaking in your second language all day. 😵‍💫. I bring a lot of energy to my lessons (probably some ADHD too! 🤪), which is why I focus on creating a relaxed and engaging environment. Learning a new language has taught me so much—about myself, about others, and about how language shapes the way we see the world. After all, language is culture! Don't you think?

¡Hola! My name is María and I'm from Mexico. 

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I majored in Languages from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and I obtained a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My classes use a blended methodology that incorporates grammar and communication activities in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have hand picked or created all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like audios, videos and games to make the lesson more interactive. My main goal is to help my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

My favorite part of language teaching is getting to know the cultures and interests of my students. I'd be happy to work on a plan that fits your needs. You don't need any previous experience learning Spanish or a foreign language. Since I am also a doctoral student I only have a limited number of hours. My name is Esther and I am a Spanish teacher from Spain. I have lived in Japan for two years and in South Korea for 6 years, so I have a wide multicultural experience. Regarding my studies, I am a Spanish philology graduated, DELE accredited examiner from level A1 to level C2 by Instituto Cervantes and I have a master’s degree in Spanish Teaching as a Foreigner Language.
