I’m a native Spanish teacher from Ruzafa, Valencia (Spain), certified by Universidad de Nebrija. I'm teaching and improving my students skills since 2014. I can teach from conversation lessons to preparation for DELE certificates (from A1 to C2). I have experience in online and face to face lessons: my method is based on conversation (acquiring fluency) and expanding, in a practical way, your grammatical knowledge and vocabulary to improve. Hello! I’m Carlos, a Spanish teacher based in the beautiful and sunny city of Malaga, in southern Spain. Hi! I am Victor. I offer conversational classes. One of the best ways to improve in a language is by talking. The most important thing is to be able to live Spanish as a part of your daily life. Every little detail since you wake up until you go to bed. And always immersed in  things you like. So, we can talk about movies, books, history, traveling, food, sports, or any topic that is part of your life.

We can use videos, podcast, articles, music, books, newspapers, phases to start a conversation. We have endless topics. And I can help you with all mistakes you may have. If it is needed we can review grammar accordingly with your common mistakes. But do not forget that make mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. It is important for me that you feel in a safe space.

Hi! My name is Vanessa, I am from Peru and I currently live in Washington State, in the US. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I speak Portuguese (C1) and French(B1).

I have been teaching online since 2018. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them.

In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. That is why I aim to provide you with a supportive, engaging and thought-provoking environment in which your oral production will take the lead role. Having said that, I am very flexible, and I will adjust my methods according to your specific needs and requirements. On every session, corrections made will be provided on a customized Google doc, so that you can always refer to it whenever you want to study and keep track of our lessons.

My lessons are directed to students of all levels looking to develop their own speaking and writing style in Spanish. I believe that the creative drive is one of the most powerful accelerators of learning and in particular, language learning; so my classes involve acting exercises, fun writing prompts, vocal training akin to singers' training, and a variety of further creative work.

We will work on near perfect pronunciation through vocal practice that takes from singing practice, but focuses on diction. You'll become aware of how the muscles of your mouth and face create sound, and how using different resonance points throughout your face will get you to reproduce just the sound you were stuck with. Muscle memory, baby!

Fluency in articulating your own thoughts and essence in Spanish is achievable through writing prompts that do feel important for you. To write about a topic that actually matters to you, I'll provide you with beautiful vocabulary words, and we'll get through grammatical forms that may better encapsulate your ideas and feelings. I will help you make Spanish your own.

If you are wanting to absorb a particular part of Hispanic or Latino culture (e.g. Rosalía's composition, rap music, particular accents, reggeaton's lyrics), we will investigate and go through the elements at interest to get you to the point of creation. If you are a musician or a writer, I can help you use the rhythmic essence of Spanish in your own art. Hit me up!

Within every technique I use, I work with my knowledge of neural connection strengthening and weakening, all facilitated through repetition, reward, understanding and reprogramming of reflexes, investigation of previous outdated strategies, etc. Emotional management is key to success, and we'll work on that in your training just as much as in the linguistic side.

Hello, I'm Ruth, and I am from Peru. I live in Cusco, the city of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located. I'd love to be your future Spanish tutor!  Likewise, I've been teaching for a while, working with a diverse range of students. This experience has helped me understand how individuals learn at different stages of life. Also, my knowledge of English allows me to connect with students and help them grasp the nuances of the Spanish language. I really enjoy teaching and supporting students to master my native language, of which I am very passionate.

My teaching style is all about making learning fun and interactive. I'll simplify things for you, especially boosting your confidence in speaking. It's important to note that our classes are mostly conversational because speaking is where you'll truly master Spanish. However, I'll adjust the classes to your needs. We'll discuss topics you enjoy and apply them to practical scenarios, empowering you to communicate effectively in everyday situations.

During our classes, I'll be typing out your mistakes. It's easy for me to spot errors since Spanish is my mother tongue, and at the end of each class, we'll go over them together. I have been teaching for about 10 years and learning languages for even longer, so I know what it's like to learn a new language. And exactly because of that, I'm a very patient and understanding teacher :)

Regarding our classes, everything will depend on your needs. However, I would like to tell you about two types of classes I offer that my students like a lot:

The first one is a class where you can ask me any question you want about Spanish. It can be about vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or even about our way of thinking. ;)

The second type of class is one in which I use my own teaching method, with which you can practice your writing, speaking, and listening comprehension skills, and also improve your pronunciation and grammar during every session.

I offer a laid-back type of teaching, yes, we'll use books, worksheets, exercises for homework (should you request them), etc. But the main goal will always be turning the lesson into a comfortable space where you can practice and learn that making mistakes is part of the natural process of learning. Most of my students are at a beginner level, but I also have experience teaching more advanced levels. I focus on grammar, structure and pronunciation, always looking to steer students towards sounding more natural.
