Hello! I am Blanca, a Mexican teacher with a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I also have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have published a couple of books.  

I love reading, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I have lived abroad and I know what it's like to be in your shoes when it comes to learning a new language because I'm a language learner myself.

I became a Spanish teacher because I found a passion for teaching and helping people improve their language skills. I've taught Spanish to businessmen, engineers, university students, psychologists, school counselors, retirees, and travelers.  

I can help you improve your Spanish for working in a specific field, but we can also have interesting conversations and debates about literature, current events, cultures, history, politics, movies, gastronomy, sports, and travel.

My lessons are tailored to each student, depending on their interests and goals. We can watch videos and tv-series, read books and interesting articles, write emails, and discuss different topics (including traditions and culture of Spanish-speaking countries).  I provide students with lesson notes, practice exercises, and examples.

My goal as a teacher is to make sure you can express your thoughts and can communicate spontaneously in Spanish, that's why since the first lesson with me, you’ll find yourself speaking Spanish.

I offer flexible classes for all levels adapted to your needs, whether you are preparing for an official exam (DELE) or just want to improve your oral or written skills. Furthermore, I have experience working with different ages and I use a communicative approach as well as interactive activities to help you improve your Spanish.

My name is Lorena. I am from Barcelona, I have lived in UK and Japan and now I live in Asturias, in the north of Spain. I love cats, travelling, getting to know people from all over the world and, of course, languages. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Japanese and a little bit of French. So I can also give you some advice having being a language student myself. 

I have been teaching for more than 20 years and I have 13 years of experience as an online teacher. I love technology, it helps teachers to adapt our classes to students with different learning styles and it makes it easier to provide an immersion experience as well. I am a philosophy student at the University of Buenos Aires. Having to deal with classic philosophers and old texts I decided to specialize in ancient languages such as Latin, Ancient Greek and Sanskrit, but I also studied modern languages like English, French and German. I like music and I play the trumpet. I also love Tango music and really enjoy translating lyrics! Now teaching Ancient History. I provide visual History books in Spanish.

Now a certified E/LE teacher by Instituto Cervantes via Academia Buenos Aires.

I teach students from all ages. I love teaching kids! My lessons are for complete beginners, intermediate students who want to improve their spanish and advanced ones looking to polish their skills.

If you don't have materials don't worry! I have my own method for complete beginners and a progressive reading book which I believe is very useful. We can also use your own materials.
