Who am I?
I’m Valéria — a true language enthusiast!
I love connecting with people from different cultures and traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m Brazilian, but at the moment I’m living in Portugal. The USA also has a special place in my heart — I even spent a year there as an Au Pair! During that time, I took care of five amazing kids, shared a bit of Brazilian culture with them, and even taught them some Portuguese. They taught me a lot too — it was such a fun and enriching experience!
I’m a certified Portuguese and English teacher, with a degree in Languages (Portuguese & English) and a License in Pedagogy.
Before focusing on teaching Portuguese to foreigners, I worked as an English tutor at language schools and as a translator for different companies. I had been translating everything from technical manuals to advertisement campaigns and even medical instructions!
