My name is Magali. As a native French with a background in coaching and vocational training in communication, I’ve been a full time and private French tutor since 2015. I have been helping adults and kids from basic to advanced to enhance their level and confidence. Here are the lessons I offer:

• lessons for beginners/false beginners/intermediate: learn in the context of real life with a textbook (pronunciation, reading, role-plays, vocabulary, conversations and grammar essentials)
• conversation (intermediate/advanced): practice and enhance your communication skills on various topics or for a specific purpose
• coaching for exams, job interviews, oral and written presentations
• coaching for non-native French tutors/instructors : building lessons, explaining certain difficult grammar points/culture, finding ressources, various questions and tips

Patient and creative, I will fit your needs and provide you with a fun and adequate material and environment. My lessons are fun and laid-back, this is an essential key to learn and get out of your comfort zone.

Why am I dedicated to pass on knowledge? Because the more I teach, the more I learn and the better I get, the more I can help others! I'm a lifelong learner and teaching has always been part of my life mission. 

I’ve lived in Canada (from West to East) for 10 years and I am currently living in Brussels, Belgium. In both countries, I can be immersed in a multicultural environment, which makes me happy and at home. Besides, I love to write, create clay sculptures, paint in watercolour and get into nature as much as I can.

With a Master's in French as a Foreign Language (FLE), I am deeply passionate about language learning and teaching my native tongue—French!

I am well-versed in the DELF A1-B2 exams and offer lessons focused on pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar for casual learners. I have taught French online and in person to learners of all ages. I tailor my lessons to each student's level and goals. My priority is to help you gain confidence and make tangible progress in French.

For the trial lesson

• I will first share a Google Docs document with you. This will allow you to access lesson plans in advance and add your own notes throughout our sessions.
• In the first few minutes, I’ll ask you to introduce yourself and share your expectations for our lessons.
• We will start with simple exercises to assess your comfort level with grammar, reading, listening, and speaking.

If your main focus is speaking, we will engage in various speaking exercises to help you gain confidence in the language. If you're preparing for the DELF exams or any school/university assessments, we will target the areas you feel need the most improvement. And if you're here to learn French in a fun and relaxed way, we can explore any themes or topics that interest you.

Hello, My name is Julien, I come from Saint-Malo, a beautiful little town in Brittany in the northwest of France. 

I love traveling to discover new cultures and learn new languages. 

I have lived in several countries: Japan, Taiwan, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. In life, what I love is cinema, reading, walks, games and of course good food! 

I have been a French teacher since 2015. I have taught in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, whether in groups, private classes, face-to-face or online.

Starters : I use a particular book that helps you to work on all the aspects of the language at the same time (phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, reading) and helps structuring the courses

Advanced : I practice conversation with you about more or less complex subjects to increase your vocabulary and to correct the remaining imperfections

Of course, I always adapt my method to your individual situation

About me : I was born in Switzerland. My mother tongue is French, which I always speak with my relatives and my friends. I also speak Italian as I grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland (Ticino) and I still live there

I also speak English, a bit of Serbian and Russian

Hello Everyone, 

Languages are a passion of mine, I am currently working on language 5 and 6. Because I've been learning other languages  I am very familiar with the difficulties my students can have and which methods are efficient. 

My first objective is for my student to develop the skills to speak and understand French so that they can be independant consulting French content at home. My classes are very relaxed and I try to have a good time while I teach. My classes are tailored to each student's level. 

• For beginners: we work on the elements of the sentence, conjugating verbs, prononciation exercises, we read basic text and we start writing and speaking in French. we also introduce the idea of daily practice.
• For intermediates we work on more advanced grammatical concepts and conjugating with more tenses, we work with audio and written format (about 50/50 technique and practice)
• For advanced students we usually do more conversation based exercises, prior to the class I'll send a podcast, documentary, youtube video, movie extracts and more and the student have to express their thoughts, their critic or commentary on the topic, on my hand I will ask questions to keep the conversation going. We can also do interview prep, review of essays written in French etc.

 I also do give a little bit of homework.

I use practical activities based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT),  methodology, throughout the course, I encourage my students to use their own daily situations in class and express them in french like in real life in role plays. My name is Célia, a native French teacher living abroad. I graduated with a master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language [teaching French to foreigners] in 2020 at the University of Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, and I became a certified DELF (A1–B2) corrector in 2022. I grew up in a small village near Montpellier, and I have lived in Northern Ireland, Germany, and Asia.

During my master’s degree, I learned how to create didactic units (lessons), design exams, and work with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I have been teaching French both online and on-site—in international schools and at the Alliance Française : from A1 to C2 levels, to learners of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, looking to build your skills, or just want to practice speaking, I’ll be happy to help!

In our first class, I’ll ask you why you want to learn French, what your goals and interests are, what your current level is, and if you want to focus on any particular aspect of the language. This first conversation during our trial lesson helps me get a better idea of your level so I can prepare a plan tailored to your needs. The materials I use are varied: listening exercises from media sources, text comprehension (books, articles, excerpts), grammar practice, and more. All resources are adapted to your level and objectives. Most materials are provided, and I also share a lesson summary and homework after each session （-＾▽＾-).

My teaching method is mainly based on communicative and action-oriented approaches. I aim to involve learners actively in their learning process and help them speak as much French as possible, in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. I know learning a new language isn’t always easy—mistakes are part of the process! I’m here to guide you, support you, and help you gain confidence step by step.

I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests. 

Languatalk is perfect to learn a language in a very efficient, funny and motivating way. My teaching method is based on oral communication and pronunciation, which doesn’t mean that you won’t learn and practice grammar and structures which are necessary to express oneself properly.
