My name is Magali. As a native French with a background in coaching and vocational training in communication, I’ve been a full time and private French tutor since 2015. I have been helping adults and kids from basic to advanced to enhance their level and confidence. Here are the lessons I offer:

• lessons based on text books: learning in the context of real life with dialogues of everyday life (pronunciation, reading, role-plays, vocabulary, conversations) and grammar essentials
• conversation: practicing oral skills on various topics or for a specific purpose
• aloud reading: improving your french accent and knowledge through texts/articles, short novels or short stories for children
• presentation: enhancing your communication skills (written and/or oral presentations, exams)
• coaching for non-native French tutors/instructors : building lessons, explaining certain grammar points/culture, finding ressources, various questions and tips

Why am I dedicated to pass on knowledge? Because the more I teach, the more I learn and the better I get, the more I can help! I'm a lifelong learner and teaching has always been part of my life mission. 

I’ve lived in Canada (from West to East) for 10 years and I am currently living in Brussels, Belgium. In both countries, I can be immersed in a multicultural environment, which makes me happy and at home. Hi, my name is Farid. Teaching French is something I really enjoy, especially when I witness my students progressing in the language and towards their goals. I have been teaching French for almost 4 years now. My students are children, teenagers and adults of all ages and levels. My lessons are usually customized to meet the needs of the students. I use different materials to teach my students; like comprehension texts, dialogues, stories, vocab materials, games..etc.. I have obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Teaching skills and I also hold a DBS check up-to-date.

In 2010, I left my birth country France to move to the United Kingdom. I am currently in Algeria for a few months, as I wanted to (re)discover my parents country. I love travelling and discovering new cultures and languages. I also speak a little Arabic.

The classes I offer:     

a- Communication French: to travel and live in France, the French that you need in everyday life situations (going shopping, booking hotels, dealing with administrations etc). Working from examples followed by vocab, grammar and communication practice.

b- Exam prep (DELF-DALF, TEF and TCF): tips on how to prepare yourself and get the best results and practice with marking and feedback.

c- Business French: Studying and practice of business French to learn useful workplace skills (leading a meeting, phone calls, interviews, making a resume etc)

d- Phonetics; I have created a very wide range of resources over the years to make sure you'll polish your accent quickly! 

e- Conversation: about the topics of your choice (using texts and videos as starting point or no). Optional feedback on your vocab, grammar and pronunciation at the end of the class.

It is always a pleasure to be able to have a fluent conversation (or a heated debate) with students who sometimes started as total beginners and to see them acing their exams.

As for the method, I use trusted manuals and activity books because I believe in structure, but also material that suits your interests and tastes - from literature to popular songs, news to scientific articles, series, and movies (subtitled or not), online resources and grammar exercises. Resources are shared on a Slack group where lessons are summarized, and tasks listed. I can also tailor-make lessons for a specific objective like a job interview or a power point presentation.

Teaching French has been my main activity for several years both privately and at the Alliance Française. I am outgoing and chatty, but homework is not optional (at least if you want to improve fast!).

Bonjour, my name is Marion, I am 34 and I am French.

Being a native French speaker and fluent in English, passionate about languages and having been down the path of learning a new language myself, I understand the struggles that a new language learner might have and I know how to be successful, whatever level you decide you want to achieve. 

All the lessons are ONLINE, through Zoom (or Skype). I use various contents such as workbooks, audio documents, and videos and I am trying to keep up to date with the constant flow of new learning material to give you the best experience. I aim to make learning French as fun as possible while matching your needs and reaching your goals. After each lesson, I would send you an email with a recap of what had been covered (+ materials), what you can do at home to practise - only if you want - and what we would cover in the next lesson so you know exactly where you are at.

My background: After obtaining my Baccalauréat in Economic and Social Sciences, I studied for 5 years to become an osteopath in France. In 2016 I left my home country to spend one year working and travelling in New Zealand. I spent another two years in Australia and in 2019 I decided to move to the UK.

Bonjour ! My name is Adeline & I'm a full-time French teacher. I also speak English fluently and a bit of Spanish. I live in France, my home country, and I like to do conversational classes to teach my language, and sometimes a bit of my culture, to foreigner students. If you want to know a little bit more about me, here are the things I'm passionate about: cooking, gardening, video games, nature, travels and other cultures. My lessons

Whether you are here to learn French from scratch, or to improve that language, you've come to the right person. As I can speak English and Spanish, don't worry if your French is not completely fluent: we will work on it together. I learned my other languages while travelling so I'm very aware about the fact that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it everyday in casual conversations.
I usualy like to start with a first conversation to evaluate your French level and your goals. We will then decide together what kind of class, duration and frequency best suits your needs, level and availability. Then I will adapt the way I speak and teach to your personal needs. 
We will spend the majority of our time together having conversations in French and, if you want, I also can provide formal lessons with exercices & oral or written comprehension.
