Hi! I'm Méloée, I am 28 and I've been teaching French since 2015. I was born and grew up in Bretagne (North-West of France), lived for 7 years in Argentina, 2 years in Marseille (in the South of France) and I live now in Barcelona, Spain. I speak French, Spanish and English, and I am also currently learning Portuguese.

I teach to all levels and ages. Conversation classes, to prepare a trip, an exam, to learn from zero, to practice grammar... we'll see together what are your goals and preferences and I'll tailor my lessons to you. 

In my experience the quickest and best way to progress is speaking and practicing a lot, so I always try to include a lot of practice in my lessons. 

For example, a class may start with a text or video (more or less difficult depending on your level) to practice comprehension, then I'll ask you some specific questions about the document to see if you understood well and see the new vocabulary. Then I'll ask more generic questions around the theme of the video/text, so you talk about your opinion on the subject, related experiences... This way, you'll speak a lot and it allows me to identify easily if you may need some theoretical exercises on specific points.

I will always build my classes depending on your needs. If you are confortable using specifics learning methods or material, let me know and we will plan something together.

About me

I graduated in French Literature, Philosophy and History (Université Paris 10), and I hold a M. Sc. in Global Change Management (HNE Eberswalde).

Before I moved to São Paulo, Brazil, I lived five years in Berlin where I started to teach. There I tutored privately and also gave literacy classes in German for young refugees. From May 2017 to September 2017, I did training to be a French teacher and I taught French at the Technical University of Berlin for three semesters.

At the moment, I work with several language schools in São Paulo (IFESP, Versátil Idiomas, and the French Alliance). I have experience with teaching to all levels and ages. I also have experience in creating didactic material. 

In parallel to my teaching activities, I also have a solid experience with translation work (English, German, Portuguese > French).

Hi all! My name is Miriam, I speak four languages and I have been teaching French online for 3 years. My mother tongue is Arabic and I started learning French since I was 3 years old. I started learning English in elementary school and had Spanish classes for two years at university. I also speak Italian as I currently live in Italy.

I am a certified examiner for DELF A1-A2-B1.I have been teaching french for 14 years.Be it general or business french, my students quickly become comfortable and confident with the language, I have also trained many multinational companies all over the world . I use the learner-centered methods, the input of the sessions are a blend of practice and theory of the language. I use practical activities based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT),  methodology, throughout the course, I encourage my students to use their own daily situations in class and express them in french like in real life in role plays. Hello Everyone, 

Languages are a passion of mine, I am currently working on language 5 and 6. Because I've been learning other languages  I am very familiar with the difficulties my students can have and which methods are efficient. 

My first objective is for my student to develop the skills to speak and understand French so that they can be independant consulting French content at home. My classes are very relaxed and I try to have a good time while I teach. My classes are tailored to each student's level. 

• For beginners: we work on the elements of the sentence, conjugating verbs, prononciation exercises, we read basic text and we start writing and speaking in French. we also introduce the idea of daily practice.
• For intermediates we work on more advanced grammatical concepts and conjugating with more tenses, we work with audio and written format (about 50/50 technique and practice)
• For advanced students we usually do more conversation based exercises, prior to the class I'll send a podcast, documentary, youtube video, movie extracts and more and the student have to express their thoughts, their critic or commentary on the topic, on my hand I will ask questions to keep the conversation going. We can also do interview prep, review of essays written in French etc.

 I also do give a little bit of homework.

I am an enthusiastic French teacher (I also teach English, Russian, Spanish and German). So, your mother tongue can be any of these languages  as I   speak and teach in all of these languages. Learning grammar is only one part of learning a language, the other part is practicing, and of course having as much fun as possible during the learning process! I work with a book to give your learning a structure. However, I also choose interesting videos, audio files and conversation topics so that you get immersed into the language as much as possible. 

My focus lies on the right pronunciation, motivating you and showing you that learning a language can be lots of fun. I have lived and worked two years in the South of France and have a German diploma in translation and interpretation for French, German and English. I speak 7 languages and 5 of them fluently. I want to show you that it is possible to learn a new language fast and with fun. I usually need 3-4 weeks in order to speak a new language fluently. How do I do it? Through as much immersion into the language as possible: reading books, comics, watching cartoons, films, YouTube videos, listening to songs, and speaking to natives in real life and online.

Hello, how are you? My name is Sylvain, I'm 30 and from Belgium. I currently live in São Paulo, Brazil with my wife. I have a degree in management, but I've been working as a French teacher since I arrived in Brazil. 
I did a university exchange in Chile, which helped me learn Spanish.  I'm a curious person and I'm interested in almost every topic, but I particularly like talking about the economy, politics, technology and cultural differences between countries.After arriving in Brazil, an opportunity came up for me to work as a French teacher in a school for adults, where I worked for the first two years. After that, I decided to become self-employed and concentrate on one-to-one, in-company and online teaching. Today, I have students of all levels with different objectives (work, travel, pleasure, French language maintenance, diplomacy etc.) and I love it when they are satisfied and see themselves progressing. My name is Florence. I come from France and I am an experienced French teacher for foreigners, certified by the Alliance Française de Paris and hold a Master’s degree in FLE (french for foreigners) to teach you my mother tongue. I have experience teaching a wide range of adults from all continents and at all levels.

But also ... before starting to teach French full-time and because of a double technical and commercial training, I worked for a long time in marketing and international trade for companies in various sectors of activities: electrical construction, car accessories, shoes… I also created my own business to distribute my creations of costume jewelry.

I’m originally from the East of France, a small town near the Swiss border, and I've been around a lot! I have lived in different regions of France: from North to South, from East to West, from Paris to Nice, from Lyon to Albi. After living in Valparaiso, Chile, I returned to Europe and then settled in Spain for almost 15 years. Today, I live in Alicante with my family.
