I was a school teacher in France for 4 years, before moving to Argentina where I taught French for one year. 

Back in France, I have been giving French lessons online for more than two years now.

My method:

- Discuss well at the outset to determine your level, your goals, your interests, what you expect from online courses, in order to prepare a 100% personalized course.

- I rely on different methods for beginners, which I adapt to each student according to their progress. For people who have a more advanced level I like to rely on texts or videos for discussion. If the students wish, I can provide grammar/vocabulary exercises to be done outside the class, in order to devote the time of the lesson to conversation/oral practice. 

- I am listening to you after the course in order to evolve our way of working so that the methodology sticks as much as possible to what you need. 

- I send a summary of the notions studied during the course by e-mail (so no need to take notes during the lesson), for those who wish I can send "homework” to prepare the next course. 

My interests: travel, literature, languages (I am currently learning Spanish and Russian, so I am myself in the position of the learner and I know that it is not always easy!).

Hello! My name is Laurent. I'm French, live near Paris and I work there as an engineer. I have always liked to learn languages. I can speak English, Portuguese, French Creole and obviously French. I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. For me, the best way to learn a language is to speak it, to be able to communicate with someone. My name is Alizee, I am from Bretagne, France, the land of butter and cider!

I have been a language teacher since 2014. I graduated from the University of Oregon in the US with a Master of arts (French culture and Literature) and then I got a bachelor of Teaching French as a 2nd language from the University of Nantes, France. I started teaching at the University of Oregon as a GTF and it helped me find my path, teaching became a part of my identity and I really found myself thanks to this experience. Afterwards, I started to travel around south east Asia and moved to Vietnam and started teaching English to Vietnamese students. I started teaching French online when I moved to the Philippines in 2019, and have continued since in several countries such as Canada and France.

I provide personalized online classes, based on your level (from A1 to C2), your goals and your interests. Each class will include grammatical introductions/reminders, listening comprehension but most of all speaking practice. If you are planning to take the DELF exam, I can also help! Homework will be provided outside of class to not waste time during the lesson. From daily life situations, to current events and news, we will have a wide range of different topics.

Hi, my name is Farid. Teaching French is something I really enjoy, especially when I witness my students progressing in the language and towards their goals. I have been teaching French for almost 4 years now. My students are children, teenagers and adults of all ages and levels. My lessons are usually customized to meet the needs of the students. I use different materials to teach my students; like comprehension texts, dialogues, stories, vocab materials, games..etc..       Bonjour ! Pourquoi souhaites-tu apprendre le français ? Peut-être pour voyager ou pour ton travail ? Ou simplement pour l'amour de la langue. Mon but est de t'aider à atteindre tes objectifs quels qu'ils soient.  J'adapte mes classes selon les niveaux, besoins et surtout envies ! Je suis ouverte à tout. 

      Si tu viens de commencer à apprendre la langue, nous verrons par exemple ensemble les bases de la langue, la prononciation, mais discuterons d'hors et déjà :) Le but étant de faire le cours tout en ayant l'impression de ne pas travailler, plutôt cool non ?  Si tu as besoin de parler français dans une situation précise, nous ferons ensemble des exercices ludiques, des études de vidéos ou de textes, des mises en situation... Et si tu souhaites juste discuter ou faire un mix de tout ça c'est tout à fait possible.

      Hello! Why do you want to learn French? Maybe to travel or for your job? Or simply for the love of the language. My goal is to help you achieve your goals whatever they may be. I adapt my classes according to levels, needs and especially desires! I am open to everything.

      If you have just started learning the language, we will see for example together the basics of the language, pronunciation, but will discuss already and already :) The goal is to do the course while having the impression of not working, pretty cool right? If you need to speak French in a specific situation, we will do fun exercises together, study videos or texts, role-plays... And if you just want to discuss or do a mix of all that it is quite possible.

      After each course, I send a document tracing all the corrections that I was able to make during the course. I also create homework according to the needs of each student, if they wish.

You choose  and I adapt my teaching according to your needs and preferences.

I endeavour to vary the teaching materials (video, articles, games, role play ...) and be as interactive as possible with you!

If you wish, I will also send you some exercises, podcasts and other things to do between classes.  

At the end of every class I will send you a recap, together we will build up a learning plan for you and we will check that we are going in the right direction with some quick test every  5 lessons or so if you wish to!
